A lighting element for a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes a diffuser; an elongated light guide, wherein the light guide is at least partially accommodated in the diffuser; and a reflector arranged on an inner side of the diffuser and having a reflective surface facing the light guide. The reflector is configured to reflect light from the light guide to an outer side of the light guide. The reflector has a rough surface in order to reflect light from the light guide diffusely.

Lighting element and loudspeaker for a motor vehicle

A lighting arrangement includes a lighting chamber having a light-permeable section and a ventilation opening with a filtering membrane. A light source for supplying light is arranged in the lighting chamber. A ventilation arrangement is assigned to the ventilation opening so as to supply ambient air through the ventilation opening to the lighting chamber. The ventilation arrangement includes an air outlet opening assigned to the ventilation opening of the lighting chamber so as to supply the ambient air to the ventilation opening. A distance between the air outlet opening and the filtering membrane is configured so as to be adjustable.

A device is provided for controlling the light distribution of a headlamp installation of a motor vehicle, with a first light source for an additional lamp and a second light source for a driving lamp. In order to provide a better device for controlling(the light distribution of a headlamp installation of a vehicle, it is provided that a light source for an additional lamp be mounted so that it can swivel. In this process, the light source for an additional lamp will illuminate part of the vehicle's own lane lying outside the edge of the roadway, while, in its second position, it illuminates the vehicle's own lane, preferably at a greater distance. The light source for the additional lamp is mounted in such a way that it has, at least, one common light passage area with, at least, one other light source.

Device for controlling the light distribution of a headlamp installation of a motor vehicle

This invention relates to a side lamp for vehicles which have an opening in their shell. In order to provide a side lamp which can be used as a turn signal side lamp and as a side marking lamp, it is suggested to construct the side lamp as part of an edge of an opening, preferably a wheel opening, on the shell of the vehicle. It is also contemplated to provide a reflector as a component of the side lamp which can be designed as part of a cover plate of the side lamp.
