A fitting for connecting a secondary plastic pipeline of a double pipe system containing two half-shells composed of plastic, wherein in each case each of the half-shells has an integrated heating wire, wherein the heating wire is arranged in each case in the regions of the connecting pieces and the heating wire has several meandering windings, wherein the heating wire is arranged in each case in a groove provided for this in the half-shell and the connecting elements which connect the two half-shells, characterized in that the fitting has distance elements arranged on the inner circumference of the half-shells for concentric arrangement of the fitting with respect to a primary pipeline.

Weldable half-shell

A tapping saddle for a plastic main pipe carrying a medium includes a stub having a central axis, a saddle piece, and a drill. The drill is configured to be moved axially in the stub. A heating element geometry, which is used for welding the tapping saddle to a main tube outer circumference, is arranged on an inside diameter of the saddle piece. The heating element geometry has a winding having an outer winding region and an inner winding region. In the inner winding region, the winding extends in meandering loops along a circle concentric with the central axis of the stub.

A pipe clamp for a main pipe conveying a medium. The pipe clamp includes a saddle member and bearing elements, wherein the bearing elements are arranged on the saddle member. The pipe clamp further includes a tension unit, wherein the tension unit comprises at least one band for encircling the main pipe, a band linkage, and a clamping lever. The band linkage and the clamping lever are each arranged at one end of the at least one band and are opposite one another. An extension is arranged on the clamping lever, and the extension is configured to be removed from the clamping lever after the tension unit is firmly clamped on the main pipe.

A shaped part formed as a welding sleeve, consisting of thermoplastic material with a resistance wire winding arranged on its inner circumference, having at least one weld indicator. The indicator consists of a stem which is formed from the material of the body of the shaped part or sleeve. The stem prevents the material which comes under increased pressure upon the welding operation, and is urged towards the surface of the sleeve, from passing into the free space, by the resting against a corresponding surface of the sleeve recess.

In a process for the connecting of plastic tubes the wall of which has a corrugated cross section by electro-thermal welding, filling cores of plastic are inserted in the corrugation troughs of the tubes to be connected on both sides of a welding joint in order to form a resting surface on the outer circumference of the tubes and an electric heating mat which surrounds the resting surface of all filling cores is placed on the resting surface.

The welding sleeve has a coil of a resistance wire forming two heating zones and is arranged near the inner circumference of the sleeve. Each heating zone has a region at the beginning and end in which the coil spacing is less than in the center region.

For welding tubular plastic parts (1) formed as a compound tube there is used a welding element (20) which is arranged with its inner peripheral surface (23) on projections (10) of the tubular parts (1) and reciprocally centers them.
