The present invention relates to a portable, affordable and user-friendly mobile RF radiation detection device. The device is composed of three major parts, namely, a sensor arrangement, a processing 5 unit, and a power supply. The sensor arrangement consists of a flexible sensor and an associated circuit element having few passive electrical components. The substrate of the sensor was made of nanoparticle treated flexible material preferably paper treated with the gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The electrically conducting patches made 10 of conductive materials preferably silver pastes on the substrate are the key component in detecting the RF radiation from the mobile. The electrical signal generated by the RF sensor is sent to the processing unit, which further transmitted the signal to a mobile android application for displaying the result. The device is useful for detecting 15 harmful mobile radiations to generate alarm in order to save people from deadly diseases such as cell or tissue denaturation, depression, tumor formation, and above all malignancy of tumors.

Mobile RF radiation detection device

The present invention discloses a Lung condition monitoring device for performing ultrafast detection of humidity level in exhaled air while breathing out and therefrom detect condition of the human lungs in real time. The Lung 5 condition monitoring device comprises a mouthpiece for forcibly exhaling air there through, one or more humidity sensor to measure the variable electrical resistance based on level of adsorption of water molecules thereon of the humidity content of exhaled air and real time monitoring unit operatively connected to said humidity sensor and having correlating means for correlating 10 the change in humidity level and related variation in the electrical resistance due to exhalation to peak flow rate of the exhaled air for monitoring lung condition. The Lung condition monitoring device is also capable of wireless data transfer to any peripheral computing device such as mobile phone via wireless connectivity and show the test results on the mobile phone display with the help of a 15 proprietary application embodied in the phones operating system. The mobile interface increases the portability, data monitoring, and user friendliness of the device. Further, the mobile interface helps in storage and analysis of big time data for prognosis, diagnosis, and therapeutic purposes.

Lung condition monitoring device

Present invention discloses a microfluidic energy harvester for converting solar energy into electrical energy. A preferred embodiment of the present microfluidic energy harvester includes a substrate having an embedded central microchannel, electrolyte configured to reside and/or flow in said central microchannel and electrode assembly having one or more pair of electrodes arranged in a series and integrated with said central microchannel from sides ensuring direct contact between said pair for electrodes with said electrolyte while it reside and/or flow in said central microchannel for ensuing electrochemical photovoltaic effect to convert the solar energy into the electrical energy under direct solar illumination by working under regenerative conditions. The microfluidic energy harvester is capable of producing high density power from three different resources, (a) the solar irradiation produces a photovoltaic potential difference between the metal/metal-oxide electrodes, (b) SPR of the metal nanoparticles suspended in the electrolyte amplifies the photovoltaic potential difference under solar irradiation, and (c) the flow of the nanoparticle laden electrolyte produces a streaming potential between the electrodes by converting the mechanical energy into the electrical one near the electrodes. The transparency of the polymer and adequate absorptivity of the metal/metal-oxide electrodes ensured facile absorption of solar irradiation in the microfluidic energy harvester. The flexibility of the MEH can be tuned by adjusting the cross-linking of the PDMS matrix. The multiplicity of the microchannels and electrodes are expected to increase the total amount of energy harvested.

Microfluidic electrical energy harvester

A portable hand tremor detection device has been reported. This device is composed of a detection unit, a flexible pressure sensor, a signal processing unit, and a power supply. The detection unit is composed of the sensor and press-knob. The flexible pressure sensor is a combination of usually spaced apart flexible polymer preferably polydimethylsiloxane, flexible substrate preferably paper, and a conductive coating preferably reduced graphene oxide (RGO). When the users put pressure on the press-knob through the fingers, the flexible pressure sensor actuates and bends so that conductive RGO layers on the flexible substrates come in contact with each other to generate an output current. The electrical circuits in the signal processing unit are laid down in such a manner that the magnitude of this output current varies with the tremor between the fingers, which eventually converted into an electrical signal showing the variation in the hand tremor with time.

Point-of-care hand tremor detection system

A transmittance based system/kit for point-of-care quantification of biomarker samples includes a stage supporting a detection unit, an optical transmittance unit and a signal processing unit. The detection unit comprising reactive substrate is capable of undergoing a specific biomarker sample interactive reaction and generating a quantifiable optical signal proportional to the concentration of the said biomarker sample wherein the intensity of the color varies with the concentration of the analyte in the bio-sample. The optical transmittance unit, comprises a sample stage integrated with the light source and a photodetector, converting quantifiable optical signal transmitted through the reagent coated substrate detection unit to electrical signals, a signal processing unit connected to the said optical transmittance unit transduces the analogue electrical signal into the digital display signal. The simple, single step, cost-effective easily disposable system/kit is useful for point-of-care detection of important biomarkers such as amylase, creatinine, albumin, among others.

Transmittance based system/kit for point-of-care quantification of biomarkers sample and use thereof

A microfluidic electrolyzer includes a housing having a power source, a sea water reservoir, a downstream microfluidic reactor connected to the reservoir and a collector for storing the separated gases emanating from the microfluidic reactor. The downstream microfluidic reactor includes a substrate, a microchannel embedded with respect to the substrate and providing a water inlet end at one end and a product outlet at the other, and a pair of electrodes. The electrodes are electrically connected with the power source and each electrode has an operative end inserted within the microchannel constituting an anode and a cathode. The cathode and the anode are positioned one ahead of the other, from the water inlet end and maintained in direct contact with the water to generate the oxygen and hydrogen involving electrolysis of the water and in-situ separate pathways of the hydrogen and oxygen free of any mixing with each other.
