A connector part () for an optical plug-in connection comprises a pin holder () and at least two pin sleeves (′) accommodated in the pin holder, wherein a connector pin (′) having an optical waveguide is fixed in each of said pin sleeves. The connector part also comprises a connector housing (), which is connected to the pin holder and completely or partially surrounds the connector pins and which has latching means () for creating a latching connection to a mating connector part. An unlocking carriage () displaceably mounted on the connector housing is provided to release the latching connection to the mating connector part. The pin holder consists of two half shells (′) which can be or are latched to one another and the connector housing also can be or is latched to the pin holder. A connector part of this kind can be installed fitted and removed without tools even in difficult field conditions, resulting in a significant time saving for optical plug-in connections.

Connector part for an optical plug-in connection

A device () for cleaning an optical waveguide end () comprises a guide portion () for receiving the optical waveguide end () in a stable position and a rotatably mounted spool () onto which a flexible cleaning element () is wound. The guide portion () and the spool () are positioned relative to one another such that an optical waveguide end () received by the guide portion () is able to be pressed against the wound cleaning element (). The cleaning element () is able to be unwound from the spool () such that different portions of the cleaning element () are able to be applied to the optical waveguide end () during unwinding.

Method and device for cleaning an optical waveguide end

A connector part for an optical plug-in connection includes a connector pin, in which an optical waveguide stub extending over a longitudinal center axis is held, and a sleeve-like pin holder. The pin holder includes a pin accommodating section, in which the connector pin is held, and an optical waveguide accommodating section, to which the end of an optical waveguide cable can be fixed in a tension-resistant manner. The optical waveguide accommodating section includes at least two jacket parts that can be connected to each other, wherein at least one jacket part can be fastened to the pin accommodating section using a joint so that the jacket part can be swiveled about a certain swivel angle between an open position and a closed position. The optical waveguide stub can be welded to an optical waveguide end on the cable side.

A plug part () for an optical plug connection comprises one pin holder () in which a plug pin () for retaining an optical waveguide which extends over a longitudinal central axis (L) is held. The pin holder () can be pushed into a plug housing () via a cable-side opening () and locked therein in a mounting position, wherein the plug pin () is held axially resiliently in the plug housing () with the aid of a separate spring element (). The spring element () can here be inserted in a mount in the plug housing () before the pin holder () is pushed in. The spring element () is secured by way of a clamping sleeve () which can be inserted into the mount via the plug-side opening () in the push-in direction (e). Arranged in the mount is a circlip () and the pin holder () has a groove () which can be brought into engagement with the circlip () in a latching manner in order to fix the mounting position.

First actuators are provided which comprise a programmable electronic controller ( ) for the individual actuation, according to a preset program, of each clamping and cutting element ( ) for its transfer from the standby position to the active position and vice versa.
