Disclosed herein are devices and methods for the use of medicament devices. The devices and methods may be used to detect or sense one or more parameters of a medicament device, for instance, shake parameters, actuation parameters, or inhalation airflow parameters. The devices and methods may be used to indicate to a user that the medicament device is in an appropriate condition for actuation of the medicament device. The devices and methods may be used to indicate to a user that the medicament device is in a condition to deliver an intended dosage range of a formulation. The devices and methods may further be used to guide a user through proper usage of a medicament device.

The spray pump holder secures the spray pump assembly. The force coupler couples the linear drive output to the spray pump, and applies a force to the spray pump. The force transducer produces a force signal proportional to the force applied to the spray pump. The system actuates the spray pump mechanism according to an actuation profile defined by the set of test inputs.

The company may use the data for testing the spray device to ensure continued compliance with prior approval of the spray device by the regulatory body. The method may also include converting the data to parameters and distributing the parameters. Capturing the in vitro actuation data may include sorting the data based on in vitro age groups. Distributing the data may include providing the data in a format executable by an automated actuation system. The company receiving the data may be a drug development company, spray device manufacturer, or testing service. The regulatory body may be the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Precise position controlled actuating method and system

A method of and system for analyzing image data representative of a sequential set of images of a spray plume, each of the images being representative of a density characteristic of the spray plume (i) along a geometric plane that intersects the spray plume, and (ii) at a predetermined instant in time, that in one aspect comprises sequentially displaying the set of images so as to exhibit a time evolution of the spray plume along the geometric plane. The invention may further integrate the set of images so as to exhibit a time-average representation of the images. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a general purpose computer executing software that receives and sequentially displays the set of images so as to exhibit a time evolution of the spray plume along the geometric plane, and provides a user interface for measuring one or more spray plume parameters associated with the spray plume within one or more of the images.
