System for anchoring and orienting a tool at a targeted depth and recording its angular position comprises a casing assembly including coupling joints; a position pilot joint having an anchor sleeve, guide block and spline teeth, the guide block and spline teeth resiliently supported to retract into and extend out of the sleeve. The spline teeth are attached to a synchronizing mechanism for maintaining the spline teeth in a retracted position until each spline tooth is aligned with corresponding coupling joint's recesses. As the guide block travels along the angled ramp of a coupling joint and enters the guiding slot, the position pilot and stabilizer joints correspondingly rotate. When the position pilot joint passes through its corresponding coupling joint, the spline teeth extend out of the anchor sleeve to engage the recesses. An azimuth joint is configured to record the angular orientation of the tool once the tool is anchored.

A molding method for producing a screw drill stator using an elastomer material includes: S1. sequentially roughening, cleaning and drying an inner surface of the stator tube; mixing an adhesive and a diluent, coating the mixture obtained on the inner surface, and heating it for later use; S2, uniformly coating a mold release agent on a surface of a mandrel mold, and heating or drying it naturally for later use; S3. assembling the processed stator tube and the processed mandrel mold to obtain an assembled mold; S4. performing a vacuum defoaming under negative pressure on a mixture obtained by uniformly mixing a prepolymer of the elastomer material with a defoaming agent; S5. uniformly mixing the defoamed prepolymer of the elastomer material with a curing agent, and pouring the obtained mixture into the assembled mold, sealing and curing the poured assembled mold by hierarchical heating to obtain the stator.

Molding method for producing a stator for a screw drilling tool using elastomer material

A prepolymer of elastomer material for screw drilling tools and a preparation method thereof are provided. The prepolymer includes component A and component B, wherein the component A includes hydroxyl-terminated liquid rubber, polytetrahydrofuran diol, and polyether polyol; the component B includes at least one of an isocyanate, a cyanate, and a cyano compound; the mass ratio of the hydroxyl-terminated liquid rubber, polytetrahydrofuran diol, and polyether polyol is (0.2-1.0): (0.2-1.0): (0.2-1.0). Different molecular segments of different proportions are introduced through structural design, such that the molecular structure of the prepolymer has both rigid and flexible segments, thus to achieve an adjustable and controllable structure of the prepolymer; and the introduction of active groups makes the prepolymer to show good reactivity and processability. Therefore, a reactive elastomer material having excellent properties such as hardness, tear strength, and tensile strength can be obtained used as an elastomer material for screw drilling tools.
