A driver integrated circuit for touch sensing and a driving method thereof are provided. The driver integrated circuit includes a touch sensing control circuit. The driver integrated circuit is adapted for driving a touch panel with a touch sensor. The touch sensing control circuit is configured to drive the touch panel to execute a first detection operation. The touch sensing control circuit drives the touch panel to execute a scanning operation after receiving a touch signal. After executing the scanning operation, the touch sensing control circuit drives the touch panel to execute a second detection operation. A sampling frequency of the second detection operation is higher than a sampling frequency of the first detection operation.

Driver integrated circuit for touch sensing and driving method thereof

A driver integrated circuit for fingerprint sensing, touch sensing and display driving and a driving method thereof are provided. The driver integrated circuit is adapted for driving a touch display panel with a fingerprint sensor. The driver integrated circuit includes a fingerprint sensing control circuit, a display driving circuit, and a display driving circuit. The fingerprint sensing control circuit drives the fingerprint sensor to perform a fingerprint sensing operation. The display driving circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a display operation. The touch sensing control circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a touch operation. The fingerprint sensing control circuit and the display driving circuit have a first direct communication therebetween so as to facilitate at least one of the fingerprint sensing operation and the display operation.

Driver integrated circuit for fingerprint sensing, touch sensing and display driving and driving method thereof

An optical fingerprint sensing device and an operation method thereof are provided. The optical fingerprint sensing device includes an optical fingerprint sensing circuit, an image superimposing circuit and a fingerprint matching circuit. The optical fingerprint sensing circuit is configured to capture an original image of the fingerprint. The image superimposing circuit is coupled to the optical fingerprint sensing circuit. The image superimposing circuit is configured to collect the original image of the fingerprint to obtain a plurality of original fingerprint images. The image superimposing circuit superimposes the original fingerprint images according to at least one superimposition parameter to obtain a superimposed fingerprint image. The fingerprint matching circuit is coupled to the image superimposing circuit to receive the superimposed fingerprint image. The fingerprint matching circuit performs fingerprint matching on the superimposed fingerprint image.

Optical fingerprint sensing device and operation method thereof

A fingerprint sensor apparatus including a fingerprint sensor and a processor circuit is provided. The fingerprint sensor is configured to capture a plurality of local fingerprint images of a fingerprint. The plurality of local fingerprint images include at least one first local fingerprint image and at least one second local fingerprint image. The processor circuit is electrically connected to the fingerprint sensor. The processor circuit is configured to identify the fingerprint according to the at least one first local fingerprint image of the local fingerprint images. The local fingerprint images form a global fingerprint image of the fingerprint. In addition, a method for sensing a fingerprint is also provided.
