Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set that includes a first SRS resource associated with a first SRS resource indicator (SRI) and a first antenna of the UE, and a second SRS resource associated with a second SRI and a second antenna of the UE. The UE may receive first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a first uplink communication on a first uplink channel, wherein the first DCI indicates the first SRI. The UE may transmit, using the first antenna, the first uplink communication using a transmit power that is based at least in part on a weighted average of a first pathloss associated with the first antenna and a second pathloss associated with the second antenna. Numerous other aspects are described.

Power control for sounding reference signal resource indicator based antenna selection

In an embodiment, a UE receives a first uplink grant for a first RAT (e.g., 5G NR) and a second uplink grant for a second RAT (e.g., LTE). In one embodiment, the UE schedules an uplink transmission on the first RAT (e.g., by selectively dropping the uplink transmission on particular resource blocks) so as to manage an amount of time that is based on concurrent uplink transmissions on both the first and second RATs are performed. In another embodiment, the UE establishes a first period of time where a BSR transmitted by the UE on the first RAT is adjusted based on scheduling of concurrent uplink multi-RAT transmissions, and a second period of time where no BSR is transmitted by the UE on the first RAT based where concurrent uplink transmissions on both the first and second RATs are not permitted to be scheduled.

Managing concurrent multi-rat uplink transmissions at a user equipment

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may configure a first initial set of maximum transmit powers for a first subscriber module. The UE may configure a second initial set of maximum transmit powers for a second subscriber module. The UE may configure a first maximum transmit power associated with a first connection for the first subscriber module. The UE may configure, independently of the configuration of the first maximum transmit power, a second maximum transmit power associated with the second connection. The UE may transmit based at least in part on at least one of the first maximum transmit power or the second maximum transmit power. Numerous other aspects are described.

Techniques for power control for dual subscribers

Methods and apparatus configured to obtain a decision-point value, and send, for a logical channel group (LCG) having a quantity of data pending an uplink transmission, a long buffer status report in response to the decision-point value exceeding a threshold value, or a short buffer status report in response to the decision-point value being equal to or less than the threshold value are disclosed. The decision-point value may be a buffer status report-type determinative value, which may be based on a peak power envelope of a wireless communication device, a data transmission rate historically obtained by the wireless communication device, a number of component carriers available for a complete upload of a buffer holding data, a cost function, an amount of data associated with the LCG that is pending the uplink transmission, a type of the wireless communication device, or a latency of communications of the wireless communication device.

A UE may calculate an allocation of a transmission power for a first uplink transmission on a first uplink channel and at least one second uplink transmission on at least one second uplink channel, the transmission power being allocated in each symbol of a plurality of symbols in a slot. The UE may detect a transmission power change in the allocation of the transmission power in the slot for at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission. The UE may determine whether to adjust the allocation of the transmission power for the at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission to eliminate the transmission power change in the slot for the at least one of the first uplink transmission or the at least one second uplink transmission.

Enhanced uplink power control with lookahead

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) to a base station using an SRS antenna switch (SRS-AS) or an SRS carrier switch (SRS-CS) transmission technique and the UE may feature multiple antenna groups that have separate exposure budgets due to their spatial separation. The UE may employ one or more accounting procedures for tracking energy contributions associated with the SRS across the multiple antenna groups of the UE and may employ one or more power control procedures for setting a transmit power for an uplink signal in accordance with the energy contributions associated with the SRS.

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, BS transmits first and second configurations for first and second BWPs to UE. The first BWP is set as an active BWP based on the first configuration. BS transmits TCP command(s) that set an active power control adjustment state. BS transitions the active BWP from the first BWP to the second BWP based on the second configuration. The active power control adjustment state is maintained after the active BWP transition (e.g., not reset to some default state).

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving an uplink grant for transmission on a plurality of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs), the plurality of PUSCHs being located on different component carriers (CCs); identifying one or more PUSCHs of the plurality of PUSCHs on which uplink control information (UCI) can be transmitted in a slot; assigning PUSCH data to the one or more identified PUSCHs on which the UCI can be transmitted before assigning PUSCH data to remaining PUSCHs of the plurality of PUSCHs; and transmitting the UCI and the PUSCH data in the slot on the assigned PUSCHs.
