Multi-player games in which players cooperate and/or compete with one another over the course of several rounds of the game are disclosed. A controller may synchronize gaming devices used by the players during the multi-player games. The controller may send sync commands to the gaming devices. In response to the sync commands, the gaming devices may start a sync timer which defines a window in which certain guarded operations may be accepted by the gaming devices. The controller may send periodic sync update commands to the gaming devices which cause the gaming devices to update their respect sync timers to a time remaining of a master sync timer or window maintained by the controller. The controller may ensure that play of the multi-player game proceeds in a relatively lock-step manner across the gaming devices.

Multi-player gaming system with synchronization periods and associated synchronization methods

A gaming machine provides a base game, from which a hold and spin feature game is triggered when a determined number of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, the configurable symbols are held in place on the display one or more spins are provided during the feature game in which to collect additional configurable symbols. Any additional configurable symbols are retained on the display during subsequent spins until the feature game is completed. The player is awarded a prize based on the values carried by the configurable symbols. The gaming machine includes one or more progressive play meters that are incremented when spin award symbols are displayed in base game outcomes. When the feature game is triggered, the number of spins provided in the feature game is determined based on the value carried by one of the progressive play meters.

System and method of providing a hold and spin feature game with progressive play meters

An electronic gaming system including a memory with instructions stored thereon and a processor in communication with the memory is described. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to cause display of an electronic game with a first theme, receive an input associated with a second theme, and transmit an identifier associated with the second theme to a host component. The instructions also cause the processor to receive content associated with the second theme and cause display of the electronic game with the second theme. The instructions further cause the processor to cause a game outcome for the electronic game to be stored in a game log wherein upon generation of a replay of the game outcome the replay includes the at least one symbol, and cause display of the game outcome.

Systems and methods for dynamic theme selection in electronic gaming

A multi-cabinet game build is disclosed. The multi-cabinet game build includes common game play assets and tailored game play assets. The common game play assets are shared by gaming machines across multiple cabinet types. The tailored game play assets are used by gaming machines of a certain cabinet type. A configuration tool is also disclosed which permits a technician to specify a game build configuration for a gaming machine, which configures the gaming machine to present a game of a multi-cabinet game build using the common game play assets and appropriate tailored game play assets for the gaming machine.
