An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for communicating interactive forms and reports in messaging applications. The apparatus for communicating interactive forms and reports in messaging applications is provided with a plurality of modules configured to functionally execute the necessary steps of selecting a markup language instruction, copying the markup language instruction and post the markup language instruction into a clipboard as a markup language object, pasting the markup language object into a data entry field associated with a messaging application, and injecting the markup language object into a message transmission to a second messaging application. These modules in the described embodiments include a selection module, a copy module, a paste module, and an injection module.

Apparatus, system, and method for communicating interactive forms and reports in messaging applications

An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for customizing a graphical user interface. A rendition module renders a base GUI to provide an operator with tools for managing Data Processing Devices (DPD). A tag module communicates interface tags to the base GUI. The interface tags describe added functionality for managing a specified DPD, wherein the added functionality is not supported by the base GUI and the base GUI is not configured to employ the interface tags. A translation module translates the interface tags into interpreted display code. The rendition module is further configured to render the interpreted display code with previously rendered display code for the base GUI to provide the added functionality for managing the specified DPD. The operator may manage the specified DPD with the added functionality.

Apparatus, system, and method for customizing a graphical user interface

Provided are techniques for state information sharing. At least one of user information and browser information is stored in a first configuration file in a first file format associated with a first browser application. A change in at least one of the user information and the browser information in the first configuration file is recognized. The changed at least one of the user information and the browser information in the first file format is converted to a second file format associated with a second browser application. A second configuration file is updated with the changed at least one of the user information and the browser information in the second file format. In response to starting the second browser application, a user and browser state is set using the user information and the browser information in the second configuration file.

User/browser state information sharing between browser applications

Real-time notification is provided of an event which has occurred in a computer-related device. Upon the occurrence of an event, a record of the event is stored in a buffer, such as a Really Simple Syndication buffer, associated with the device. The buffer is updated based on indications and other events noted by a CIM agent in the device. One of a series of regular requests is received from an open browser window on a user computer, the request inquiring about any record of the event stored in the buffer. In response to the request, the record of the event is transmitted to an HTML event element in a page of the browser window whereby the record of the event is inserted into the HTML element and displayed in the browser window.

Real-time notification of device events

A storage device implements a file profiling mechanism to minimize fragmentation. A plurality of files is organized according to a high or low read/write access frequency. A plurality of unchanging file types are placed in a first grouping. A plurality of oscillating file types are placed in a second grouping adjacent to the first grouping. A plurality of the high frequency read/write access files which are growing file types are placed in a third grouping adjacent to the second grouping. A remainder of the growing file types not placed in the third grouping is defragmented. The remainder of the growing file types is then placed in a fourth grouping adjacent to the third grouping.

File profiling to minimize fragmentation

An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for accessing redundant data. A verification value module calculates a first verification value for a first redundant memory. In addition, the verification value module calculates a second verification value for a second redundant memory. In one embodiment, a validation module validates the first and second verification values. A selection module accesses the first redundant memory if the first verification value is equivalent to the second verification value. In a certain embodiment, the selection module identifies and accesses the redundant memory with a most advanced generation count if the first and second verification values are valid and are not equivalent.
