A Branch busbar device for high voltage arrangements, whereby the branch busbar device comprises a first electric line with a first electric contact area and a second electric line with a second electric contact area, whereby the first electric contact area is connected to the second electric contact area, whereby a first field limiting part is arranged at a first place adjacent to the contact areas, a second field limiting part is arranged at a second place adjacent to the contact areas, and the first field limiting part and the second field limiting part are electrically connected to the first electric line or to the second electric line or to a third electric line of the branch busbar device is provided.

A disconnector for use in a switchgear structured to electrically connect between a power source and a load includes a pair of disconnector blades spaced apart by a distance and having a first end structured to selectively receive and form an electrical connection with a busbar contact and a second end structured to electrically couple to the load, and a pair of magnetic plates mechanically connected to inner surfaces of the pair of disconnector blades and structured to bias the pair of disconnector blades toward each other.

A switch for medium voltage applications is provided. The switch comprises a vacuum interrupter having a fixed contact, a movable contact movable in a first direction to and away from the fixed contact between a closed position and an open position, and a drive rod arranged to the movable contact for moving the contact between the closed position and the open position. The switch further comprises a changeover switch having a first terminal body, a second terminal body, an elongated pole body, and an operating rod. The elongate pole body is hinged with a first end to the first terminal body and rotatable between a connected position in which the second end of the pole body is in direct electrical contact with the second terminal body and a disconnected position in which the second end is disconnected from the second terminal body.

A changeover switch for medium voltage switchgear is provided. The changeover switch includes a first terminal body, a second terminal body, and two elongate pole bodies. The two elongate pole bodies are arranged parallel to each other and rotatably arranged with first ends on opposite sides of, and in direct contact with the first terminal body around a rotation axis. The two elongate pole bodies are rotatable between an open position and a closed position. The second ends of the two elongate pole bodies are positioned in direct contact with opposite sides of the second terminal body. The changeover switch further includes one or more springs arranged between the two elongate pole bodies to urge the two elongate pole bodies towards each other.

A connector for electrically connecting two panels having switchgear has: two cups having a truncated cone shape for arrangement in a panel, the cups each having a conductor end extending through the tip of the cone and into the cup; an insulating body having two opposite truncated cone shaped outer surfaces each for reception in one of the cups and having a central passage; an electrically conducting element for connecting with the conductor ends extending in the central passage of the insulating body; wherein the insulating body is a molded body having an earth wire molded in; and wherein a coating of an electrical conducting layer is arranged on the earth wire and at least part of the insulating body.
