Embodiments are disclosed wherein a plurality of transmission paths is identified and then used by a first system in transmitting information to a second system. According to some embodiments, the first system is configured to perform operations comprising: transmitting information to the second system by transmitting first data over a first transmission path of the plurality of transmission paths; transmitting information to the second system by transmitting second data over a second transmission path of the plurality of transmission paths; and causing the second system to aggregate the first data with the second data that is received thereat via the first transmission path and the second transmission path respectively.

A plurality of transmit/receive modes is established and is used selectively to communicate responsive to a parameter that is associated with data to be transmitted/received; and wirelessly communicating by using a 5G air interface and by using at least one transmit/receive mode of the plurality of transmit/receive modes. Systems/methods are disclosed of an auxiliary/wearable device functioning in cooperation with a first smartphone wherein, according to some embodiments, the auxiliary/wearable device is configured to perform monitoring or measurements and to communicate results of said monitoring or measurements to the first smartphone responsive to an identity that is associated with the first smartphone and is known by the auxiliary/wearable device. Systems/methods are disclosed of a smartphone functioning in cooperation with at least one auxiliary device wherein, according to some embodiments, the smartphone is configured to receive results of monitoring or measurements performed by a first auxiliary device; and to receive results of monitoring or measurements performed by a second auxiliary device. Systems/methods of a smartphone functioning in cooperation with auxiliary devices

Embodiments of systems/methods are disclosed comprising a smartphone wherein responsive to instructions that are received from a base station the smartphone establishes a plurality of transmit/receive modes, that differ therebetween, comprising a first transmit/receive mode, a second transmit/receive mode, a third transmit/receive mode and a fourth transmit/receive mode. According to some embodiments, the smartphone is configured to selectively use each one of said plurality of transmit/receive modes and to vary a power level. Systems/methods are disclosed whereby a device is configured to provide a first wireless service by using one or more auxiliary devices that is/are proximate thereto and is/are associated with unique identities known to the device. Also, a second wireless service is provided by the device by using one or more other auxiliary devices that is/are proximate thereto but is/are not associated with any specific unique identities known to the device. According to some embodiments, the first wireless service is based upon a Bluetooth protocol and an Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) Protocol, the second wireless service is based upon a Bluetooth Protocol and the device comprises a smartphone.

A system/method is disclosed wherein, according to some embodiments, an access point provides a first wireless service to a first device and further provides a second wireless service to a second device; wherein the access point provides the first wireless service to the first device responsive to a special access code that has been provided to the first device; wherein the access point further provides the second wireless service to the second device absent the special access code having been provided to the second device; wherein the first wireless service is more bandwidth intensive than, and differs from, the second wireless service; and wherein the second wireless service is provided to the second device using a 900 MHz band of frequencies.

Embodiments of systems/methods are disclosed wherein a transmitter is configured to wirelessly communicate with a destination device by transmitting a first plurality of subcarriers using a first set of frequencies and a first air interface; and responsive to a size of data that is to be transmitted, transmitting a second plurality of subcarriers using a second set of frequencies and a second air interface that comprises a variant of the first air interface. System/methods of Carrier Aggregation are disclosed. According to some embodiments, a system/method comprises a first transmitter and a second transmitter, that are connected therebetween, and configured to perform operations comprising: wirelessly transmitting to a destination device first data via the first transmitter, using frequencies that are allocated for use by cellular communications; and, responsive to a size of data that is to be transmitted to the destination device and responsive to a distance between the destination device and the second transmitter, wirelessly transmitting to the destination device second data via the second transmitter, using frequencies that are allocated for use by cellular communications; wherein, according to some embodiments, the first transmitter uses a first air interface and the second transmitter uses a second air interface that comprises a variant of the first air interface.

Systems/Methods are provided comprising a smartphone that communicates with a first wearable device and also communicates with a second wearable device; wherein the smartphone is further configured to wirelessly receive results of measurements performed by the first wearable device using a Bluetooth technology and to wirelessly receive results of measurements performed by the second wearable device via an unlicensed band of frequencies using a technology that is based on Bluetooth or not. According to some embodiments, the smartphone is further configured to augment results of the measurements received from the first and second wearable devices with respective additional information that is associated therewith.
