An insulating element for sealing off a structural element in a motor vehicle, including a carrier and an expandable material that is arranged on the carrier. The insulating element has a top side and a bottom side which, in a state of use, are aligned substantially in a plane of a cross section of the structural element that is to be sealed off. In addition, the insulating element has at least one guide element, by means of which the insulating element can be arranged on a rail element, with the result that the rail element is arranged substantially perpendicularly to the top side and to the bottom side.

Insulating element

An insulating element for sealing off a structural element in a motor vehicle includes a carrier and an expandable material that is arranged on the carrier. The insulating element has a top side and a bottom side, wherein at least three contact points are arranged on each of the top side and the bottom side, which are designed in such a way that, when a plurality of identical insulating elements are stacked, adjacent insulating elements respectively lie on one another via these contact points and are thus arranged parallel to one another.

An insulating element for insulating a structural element in a vehicle includes a carrier which has a first wall and a second wall. A first rib and a second rib are arranged between the walls. The insulating element also includes an expandable material which is arranged between the walls and on both sides of each rib. The insulating element also includes a fastening element for fastening the insulating element in the structural element.

A reinforcing element for reinforcing structural elements in vehicles includes: a support having at least one reservoir, which has an outlet opening; an adhesive, which is arranged in the reservoir; and a dispensing element having a separating element and a propulsion element; wherein, when the propulsion element is actuated, the separating element is moved through the reservoir, with the result that the adhesive is dispensed from the reservoir through the outlet opening.
