A host information handling system may aggregate a plurality of packets for transmission from the host information handling system to a plurality of client information handling systems. The host information handling system may then assign a priority value to each of the plurality of packets. The host information handling system may then determine that an aggregate size of the plurality of packets exceeds a threshold size. Based, at least in part, on the determination, the host information handling system may select a subset of the plurality of packets for transmission to the plurality of client information handling systems. The host information handling system may then transmit the selected subset of the plurality of packets to the plurality of client information handling systems.

A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing an intelligent connectivity operation. The intelligent connectivity operation includes: generating an uplink packet by a client information handling system, the uplink packet corresponding to a particular packet traffic type; associating packet quality of service information with the uplink packet; receiving a down link packet to the client information handling system; determining whether the down link packet corresponds to the particular packet traffic type; and, associating the down link packet with the packet priority information of the uplink packet when the downlink packet corresponds to the particular packet traffic type.

A security level of data generated by an application may be communicated from the application layer to the network layer and that security level used to determine of several available network connects for transmitting the data. A method of communicating may include associating the plurality of network connections with security levels to form associations, the associations indicating security levels of data that may be transmitted over each of the plurality of network connections; receiving, at the network layer, data for transmission; determining, at the network layer, a security level for the data; determining, at the network layer, at least one network connection of a plurality of network connections to transmit the data based, at least in part, on the security level; and transmitting the data packet over the at least one network connection.

An information handling system includes a first wireless data communication interface configured to establish wireless data communication links on a first frequency band, a second wireless data communication interface configured to establish wireless data communication links on a second frequency band, and a processor. The processor establishes a first data communication link on the first wireless data communication interface with an access point external to the information handling system, determines a first link characteristic for the first data communication link, establishes a second data communication link on the second wireless data communication interface with the access point, determines a second link characteristic for the second data communication link, selects one of the first and second data communication links based on the first and second link characteristics, and maintains the selected one of the first or second data communication links based upon the selection. The first and second link characteristics are of a common type of characteristic.

According to one embodiment, a communication system including first and second electronic devices that communicate with one another over a plurality of wireless channels. The first electronic device is configured to establish a connection with a second electronic device using a first wireless channel that operates according to a first wireless communication protocol. During communication via the first wireless channel, the first electronic device identifies an operational context of the first electronic device in which the operational context includes a proximity of the first electronic device relative to the second wireless device, and based on the identified operational context, establishes the connection with the second electronic device using a second channel that operates according to a second wireless communication protocol. The first wireless communication protocol is different than the second wireless communication protocol.

The traffic routing operation includes: establishing a plurality of virtual private network (VPN) connections within an information handling system; obtaining a configuration policy for each of the plurality of VPN connections, the configuration policy for each of the plurality of VPN connections comprising an indication of at least one type of supported link of a plurality of links; configuring a plurality of queues for packets being communicated via the plurality of virtual private network connections, the plurality of queues being greater than the plurality of VPN connections; creating a tunnel indication for each of the plurality of VPN connections; mapping the tunnel indication for each of the plurality of VP connections to a respective queue of the plurality of queues; and, mapping each queue of the plurality of queues to a link of a particular VPN connection.

In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: while connected to a first communication channel provided by a first access point, detect wireless interference in a second communication channel provided by a second access point; score the second access point, at least in part, based upon the wireless interference; and switch from the first communication channel to the second communication channel, at least in part, based upon the score.
