Medical examination or treatment device, in particular x-ray or CT device, comprising a control device controlling the operation of one or a number of device elements, as well as at least one mobile control element assigned to the control device, the control element communicating wirelessly with the control device for operating the examination or treatment device to issue control signals, with a detector element for detecting an item of information which can be read out or sent by a control element assigned to the control device during a movement of the control element from the room containing the medical examination or treatment device, the room communicating with the control device which disables the control operation as a function of the detection result.

Medical examination or treatment device, in particular x-ray or CT device

A system for controlling a diagnosis and/or therapy system is provided. The system may include a portable unit that includes at least one voice signal detection device and a transmission device for wireless transmission of data to a receiver unit of the diagnosis and/or therapy system. The portable unit includes a voice recognition unit that generates control signals depending on the voice signals arriving via the voice signal detection device. The control signals may be transmitted by the transmission device as commands.

System for controlling a diagnosis and/or therapy system

A system for wireless operation includes a receiver and a mobile remote control unit having an acceleration sensor and a control unit. The mobile remote control unit is operable to wirelessly transmit control signals to the receiver. The control unit is operable to receive and evaluate measurement signals of the acceleration sensor, determine a connection quality between the mobile remote control unit and the receiver, and block the transmission of at least some of the control signals when a decision criterion determined by the measurement signals of the acceleration sensor and the connection quality is exceeded.

Wireless transmission for a medical device

A system for wireless transmission of signals is provided. The system includes a mobile operator unit that is operable to transmit signals; and a base unit of a safety-critical device that is operable to receive signals from the mobile operator unit. The mobile operator unit is operable to categorize the signals to be transmitted as safety-relevant control signals and non-critical communication signals. Only the safety-relevant control signals are checked for error-free transmission. The non-critical communication signals are transmitted without error safety checking.

Wireless transmission of signals

A method for cableless transmission of operating signals from a mobile remote control unit to a medical device is provided. The method includes recording a transmission quality measurement, and blocking the transmission of the operating signals if the transmission quality measurement or a distance measurement between the remote control unit and a receiver unit of the device fulfills a predetermined trigger criteria. A step detection process is carried out by the remote control unit, and a change in the transmission quality measurement is taken into account if a step movement is determined in the step detection process.

Cableless operation of a medical device

A system for controlling or operating a plurality of target systems via spoken commands is provided. The system includes a first plurality of target systems, a second plurality of controllers for controlling or operating target systems via spoken commands, a speech recognition system that stores interface information that is specific to a target system or a group of target systems that are to be controlled or operated. A first controller in the second plurality of controllers includes a microphone for picking up audible signals in the vicinity of the first controller and a device for transmitting the audible signals to a speech recognition system. The speech recognition system is operable to analyze the interface information to recognize spoken commands issued for controlling or operating said target system.

Control of plurality of target systems

A method for safety-directed wireless signal transmission is provided. The method includes duplicating an input signal; supplying each copy of the duplicated input signal within a source unit to a transmitter module over separate, independent software paths; transmitting the copies using the transmitter module over a common wireless transmission link to a receiver module of a sink unit; supplying each transmitted copy within the sink unit over an independent software path to a comparator module; and using the comparator module to test the output copies for consistency with an output signal corresponding to the output copies being generated by the comparator module.

Method and device for a safety-orientated wireless signal transmission

A radio operating system, in particular for a medical device, comprises: a radio base station, provided for control of a device, an operating unit, for establishment of a radio connection with the radio base station, whereby the operating unit comprises a controller with a first threshold value (S) relating to a reception parameter (K), depending on which a switching between various operational modes (B, B) for the operating unit is provided. On dropping below the threshold value (S), a safety-oriented operating mode (B) and, on exceeding the threshold value (S), a standard operating mode for the operating element (), are provided. A first non-safety-critical command set (BS) may be activated by the operating unit and equally used in the various operating modes (B, B), a second safety-critical command set (BS), activated by means of the operating unit, may be used in the safety-oriented operating mode (B) in a limited manner in comparison to the standard operating mode (B).

Radio operating system and method for operating a radio system

To facilitate an intuitive operation of an adjustable device of a medical apparatus, a system for the automatic setting of an operating configuration of the portable control module controlling the adjustable device is provided. Different operating configurations regarding the directional control of the movement of the movable device differ are based on the relative spatial position of the adjustable device with respect to the control module. The system includes at least one signal sender unit for sending a signal. The signal sender unit may be arranged on the control module. The system further includes at least two signal converter units for converting and retransmitting or for converting and reflecting the signal. The signal converter units may be arranged on different positions on the device. A signal receiver unit is used for receiving the converted signal, and the receiver unit may be arranged on the control module.

Medical apparatus and method

An apparatus for medical diagnosis and therapy systems has at least one operator control device generating at least one control signal corresponding to at least one function of the apparatus, a control unit for converting the at least one control signal into the at least one function of the medical apparatus, a signal transmission device for wireless transmission of the at least one control signal from the at least one operator control device to the control unit of the medical apparatus, and at least one console adapted for detachably engaging the at least one control device. The signal transmission device has at least one first transmission unit in communication with the at least one operator control device and at least one second transmission unit in communication with the control unit. At least one interference-free transmission path is established when the at least one control device is engaged with the at least one console.
