A printing press includes at least one impression cylinder, which has a first and a second front side and to which at least two inking systems each having a print roller are assigned. The print rollers are set against the impression cylinder and each print roller is driven via a drive. A first inking system is assigned to the first half of the impression cylinder and a second inking system is assigned to the second half. The drive of the print roller of the first inking system disposed in the first half is arranged on the first front side of the impression cylinder, and the drive of the print roller of the second inking system disposed in the second half is arranged on the first front side of the impression cylinder.

Printing press with several inking units

A coupling device facilitates coupling of an ink transfer roller in an inking unit or printing unit of a printing machine. The ink transfer roller includes at least a roller body to which an end pin is connected, with each end pin of the roller being mounted to rotate in a bearing housing of the inking unit or printing unit via at least one bearing. The end pins of the roller include couplings with which the roller can be coupled and fastened in the inking unit or printing unit, with at least one end pin of the roller being splined to a shaft piece of a drive. The coupling device includes an actuator, with which at least one end pin of the ink transfer roller can be positioned against the shaft piece of the drive.

Device and method for coupling a color transfer roller

A printing plate cylinder for a printing machine has a rotatable cylinder mandrel and a sleeve that is at least partially positionable over the cylinder mandrel. The angular positions of the mandrel and the sleeve are alignable to each other by a male register element which is fixed on one of the two elements to be aligned, and a female register element which is part of the corresponding other element to be aligned. Both the male and female register elements remain in working connection with each other if the elements to be aligned are in the set position relative to each other. At least one of the male and female register elements is controlled by movement of the other element to be aligned.

Printing plate cylinder registration

An inking system of a flexographic printing press with an anilox roller and a printing plate roller involved in color transport is shown. The positions of these two rollers relative to each other and to the impression cylinder are set using positioning elements that include bearing blocks in which the axles of the two rollers are mounted and which are traversed by motors which turn respective spindles that engage through an inner thread mounted in or on the bearing blocks. The motors are mounted on the machine frame on sides of the two rollers turned toward or facing the impression cylinder.

Inking system for flexographic printing presses

The bearings of a printing roller of a printing machine, preferably of a flexoprinting machine, with at least one counter-pressure cylinder and with at least one printing roller, which on one end is taper bore mounted in the frame, are conveyable in guideways relative to the counter-pressure cylinder. A bearing is provided for underpropping the shaft extension of the free end of the printing roller. In order to be able to slide the enveloping sleeve off and/or the adapter sleeve off of the printing roller in a simple manner, two shafts are mounted to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable in the bearing block in which the printing roller is taper bore mounted, parallel to the center line of the printing roller, said shafts carrying on their inner ends, which are oriented toward the printing roller, radial arms with end face thrust pieces. The shafts are rotatably mounted on their outer ends in a carrier bracket and are provided with a rotary drive. The carrier bracket is provided with a drive that makes it conveyable relative to the bearing block.

Printing machine

A spindle-nut combination for applying a roller to a counterbearing moved essentially at the circumferential speed of the roller. In order to be able to adjust the play of the spindle in a simple manner, an additional nut is associated with, and displaceable against the spindle nut. Both nuts mesh with the thread of the spindle. An additional securable nut is also provided to brace against the additional nut and prevent undesired turning thereof.

A flexographic printing machine having at least one inking unit in which the setting of the printing position of the format cylinder and the anilox roller can be achieved by adjusting the format cylinder to the impression roller and the anilox roller to the format cylinder using adjustment equipment. The setting of the printing position of the format cylinder and/or the anilox roller is achieved by manually operating this adjustment equipment, while the removal of the format cylinder and/or the anilox roller from the previously manually set position and the readjustment of these rollers into the same position can be achieved using at least one drive.
