A modular conveyor belt () comprises a plurality of first rows of one or more belt modules () and a plurality of second rows of one or more belt modules (). Each of the first rows comprises a first drive surface () for receiving a force-transmitting surface of a first series of force-transmitting surfaces of a drive sprocket, the first drive surfaces () of the first rows being arranged along a first line in a direction of belt travel (T). The present disclosure may be embodied as a belt module for a radius or spiral conveyor. The belt module includes first link ends extending in a direction of belt travel. Each first link end has a transverse opening. Second link ends extend in a direction opposite the first link ends and are configured to interdigitate with the first link ends of an adjacent belt module, and each second link end has a transverse opening defined therein. The transverse openings of the first and/or the second link ends are elongated. The belt modules further include a collapsible tab for contacting a frame member. The collapsible tab is located at a first transverse end of the belt module. In some embodiments, the collapsible tab is configured to engage a drive bar. The belt module may further include a guide tooth on a bottom side of the module for engaging a guide.

The present disclosure provides a modular belt having two or more longitudinal belt sections. Each belt section includes a traction element having a cord and a plurality of drive elements attached to the cord. The drive elements are spaced apart along a length of the cord. The belt section further includes a plurality of belt plates. Each belt plate is removably attached to a corresponding drive element of the traction element. The belt section may comprise at least one additional traction element to which each belt plate is attached. In this way, each belt plate may be attached to two or more traction elements. The modular belt includes two or more connectors, wherein each connector is configured to longitudinally couple two belt sections in order to form the modular belt as an endless belt.

A hybrid module has a bridge section with a first transverse end and a second transverse end. Each end module has a body with an inner end and an outer end. The inner ends of each module are configured to be attached to a corresponding end of the bridge section. The inner ends may be removably attached to the corresponding ends of the bridge section using a coupler on the inner end and, in some cases, a mating coupler on the corresponding end of the bridge section.

The module has a first and a second plurality of link ends extending outward from the intermediate section and having a transverse opening defined therein. The link ends are formed by a pair of spaced apart link members that are connected by a end portion. The link ends have a slot or opening defined therein from the top to the bottom of the module. The slot is bordered by the inside walls of the link members. The corrugated portion of the cross rib has a reach bar portion extending between first and second link ends and has a border portion disposed adjacent to the slot formed in the link ends.
