A method is provided for disabling a footwell area ventilation of individual seats of a vehicle. A device for carrying out the method is also provided. That device includes a ventilation system for a motor vehicle having a number of seats and at least one shut-off device for a footwell area ventilation for at least one seat, which can be set such that the footwell area ventilation for the seat is released or shut off.

The invention relates to an air conditioning system for motor vehicles, which contains a connection piece for a pressure switch/pressure sensor, said connection piece being suitable for evacuating and filling the air conditioning system after the removal of the pressure switch/pressure sensor, so that the two normally separate functions are combined in one connection piece.

In a quick-fitting pipe union for sealingly connecting two pipes (1 and 4) comprising an annular cage (8) fitted on the outer side of the one pipe (4) and fitted inside with an annular helical spring (9). When the pipes (1 and 4) are slid axially into one another, the spring latches over a flange (2) of the receiving pipe (1). The annular cage (8) with the sealing means (6/7) is fitted after the enlargement (5) is loosely slidable relative to the receiving pipe.

Quick connector with variable length compensation

In a tube connection, an axial end region of a first tube is inserted into an axial end region of a second tube having an internal diameter greater than the external diameter of the first tube. Elastic sealing elements are disposed between the outside of the inserted end region and the inside of the receiving end region. A safety clip which holds the tubes in place in the axial direction is at the same time so formed that misalignment of the tubes in the region of the tube connection is prevented. The safety clip has first and second contact regions, in the form of clamps, which are provided for preferably area contact with the outsides of the end regions of the tubes to be connected. The contact regions each extend over an axial length such that when the safety clip is in the clamped position the tubes are held in the region of the tube connection non-tiltably in a mutually axially aligned position.
