The invention relates to compositions containing compounds of formula (I), formula (II), or mixtures thereof, in which n is an integer greater than or equal to 1, R, an aliphatic, linear or branched hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a hydrogen atom, the structural unit &#x2014;O&#x2014;X, or the structural unit &#x2014;CH&#x2014;O&#x2014;X, X corresponds to formula (III), in which a is an integer from 2 to 6, b is an integer from 0 to 3, c is an integer from 20 to 28, m is 1 or 2, Ris an aliphatic, linear or branched hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, Y is hydrogen, &#x2014;SOM, &#x2014;SOM, &#x2014;POM, or &#x2014;CHCOOM, and M is a cation. The compounds of formula (I), of formula (II), or mixtures thereof are preferably suitable to act as a dispersing agent.

Dispersing agent

The present invention relates to solid pigment preparations containing (A) 5 to 99 percent by weight of at least one pigment; (B) 1 to 95 percent by weight of at least one water-soluble dispersing additive based on copolymers that consist of the following structural units: (i) 1.0 to 50 mol percent of structural unit B1; a combined total of 50 to 99.0 mole percent of structural units (B2) and (B3); (iii) 0 to 49 mole percent of structural unit (B4).

Easily dispersible solid pigment preparations

The invention relates to a pigment preparation containing (i) at least one organic and/or inorganic pigment, (ii) a dispersant that can be obtained by the polmerization of monomers [A], [B], [C] and [D], where [A] is a monomer of formula (I) wherein A is C2-C4 alkylene and B is a C2-C4 alkylene different from A, and R is hydrogen or methyl, [B] is a monomer of formula (II) wherein D is Calkylene, R is hydrogen or methyl, and o is a number between 2 and 500, [C] is an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an aromatic group; and [D] is an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an alkyl radical.

Dry pigment preparations comprising non-ionic additives

The invention relates to pigment preparations containing (i) at least one organic and/or inorganic pigment, and (ii) a dispersant of formula (I) or (II), or mixtures of dispersants of formulae (I) and (II), wherein A is C-Calkylene and B is a C-Calkylene different from A, D is propylene, and Q is SO, CH&#x2014;COO, POM or QM.
