In sealing elements (&#x2033;) for automatic compressor valves, composed of synthetic material () having embedded fiber reinforcement (), the fiber reinforcement () and/or the surrounding synthetic material () in the finished sealing element (&#x2033;) has an inhomogeneous distribution and/or locally different material characteristics under consideration of different local requirements. Near-surface regions () may be designed to be free of fiber to avoid fiber breaks and the danger of cracks extending from there, and said near-surface regions () may preferably consist of different materials compared to the one in the remaining sealing element (&#x2033;)

Sealing elements for compressor valves

The valve includes a valve seat ( ) having passage channels ( ) for the controlled medium which are arranged essentially in a ring-shape and concentrically, of a catcher ( ) having flow-off channels ( ), a valve plate ( ) that is movably arranged, in particular it is movable back and forth, between the catcher ( ) and the valve seat ( ), having several individual ring plates ( ) that are allocated to the passage channels of the valve seat ( ), and a support plate ( ) that is spring-loaded by the catcher ( ) and rests on the ring plates ( ). To allow for the guiding of each single ring plate ( ) in the direction of lift with simple, joint springs, the support plate ( ) includes individual, concentrically arranged support rings ( &prime;) that overlap respectively two ring plates ( ), which are guided on the guiding extensions ( ) of the catcher ( ) in the direction of lift, and the guiding extensions ( ) are arranged on the radial cross-pieces ( ) of the catcher ( ), respectively in the areas of the outer and inner circumferences of the support rings ( &prime;), and protrude in the direction of the valve seat ( ) to such an extent that the respectively adjacent ring plate ( ) is also guided on it across the entire lift.
