A filter element for insertion into a housing of a ventilation or air-conditioning system, including a bellows with pleated walls and pleat tips and a front face, which can be faced towards a wall of the housing, wherein a guide duct is allocated to the front face, wherein the guide duct is formed by at least one breakthrough in the pleated walls and/or in a side strip that is hemming the front face, in view of the object to indicate a mechanical coding for a filter element which ensures a unique allocation of a filter element to a housing, wherein the filter element is provided with breakthroughs and wherein the mechanical strength of pleated walls and side strips is impaired as little as possible by the breakthroughs, characterized in that the breakthrough is provided with a reinforcing.

Filter element with a guide duct that penetrates its pleated walls

A cassette filter made of a case open at either end that is formed of flat sheets which surround a dimensionally stable filter pack in a dust-tight manner. The sheets are cemented to each other and to the filter pack by means of adhesive layers and are spatially fixed in position by the filter pack.

Cassette filter

A tubular filter body is embedded at the extremity into a molding compound. A u-shaped end piece with a u-shaped groove is provided. Liquefied molding compound is poured into the U-shaped groove. The filter body is introduced into the groove, and immersed into the molding compound. The molding compound is allowed to cure to produce a permanent bond.

Method for producing a tubular according filter element

A method for manufacturing a filter insert, configured as a folding pack and made of thermoplastically bondable nonwoven material, such that a planar filter medium is first folded and then immobilized in a permanent form at a preset fold spacing by delivery of energy and subsequent cooling, such that after the process step of creating a defined fold spacing, the two outer edges of the folded pack are positively clamped into comb-like profiles, substantially corresponding to the fold geometry and dimensions of the folded pack and engaging in toothed fashion into the top and bottom of the folds, the spacing between which is chosen to be the same as or slightly less than the thickness of the nonwoven fiber fabric, wherein the folded filter material projects beyond the comb-like profiles at each outer edge a distance less than 1 times the fold spacing, wherein a sealing band, corresponding in width substantially to the height of the folds, is laid on the outer edges on the long sides, and in each case compressed by means of pressure elements acting laterally thereon and at the same time thermally bonded, with energy delivered via the pressure elements, to the outer edges of the filter material. The bond points are pressed together and immobilized until they cool. The profiles are then removed, and the folded pack is cut to length.

Pleated filter insert and method of manufacture

A tubular accordion filter element having at one end a U-shaped end piece of flexible sealing material embraces a filter body on the outside and inside in an annular manner. A necking is arranged on the outside of the end piece, extending away from the end face of the end piece, the necking being followed by a straight or frustoconical area.

A pocket filter includes a front frame which accommodates at least two filter bags. The top of each bag accommodates a reinforcing frame. The bags are secured dust-tight to one another, to the reinforcing frames, and to the front frame. The front frame is a severed at at least one point along its perimeter. The front frame has a U-shaped channel around it that opens inward, and the reinforcing frames can be inserted into the channel when the front frame is open at the severed point. The reinforcing frames match each other and match the size of the front frame, creating a dust-tight contact between all the adjacent reinforcing frames and the inner surface of the channel when the front frame is closed at the severed point. Facing webs, disposed in the channel opening on each side of the 'U', create a dust-tight contact with the reinforcing frame.

Pocket filter

The invention is directed to a guide bar which includes a fill body in the guide groove thereof. The fill body is disposed in the region of a lubricating bore and bridges the gap between the bottom of the groove and the rakers of the drive links of the saw chain. The fill body raises the bottom of the groove in the region where lubricant is supplied to the saw chain through the lubricating bore. The fill body has a recess formed at the location of the lubricating bore for receiving lubricant therein. With the invention, the take along of the lubricant by the rakers of the drive links of the saw chain is improved thereby reducing the quantity of lubricant which would otherwise be lost. A method and an apparatus for forming the fill body in the guide groove of the guide bar are also disclosed.

A guide bar for a saw chain of a motor-driven chain saw has a guide groove formed in the periphery thereof. The drive links of the saw chain have projections known as rakers which protrude beyond the side links of the saw chain and which are guided in the guide groove. The guide bar has at least one supply bore in a groove wall through which lubricating oil is supplied for lubricating the saw chain. In the vicinity of the supply bore, a lubricant surface extending approximately parallel to the groove bottom is provided. This lubricant surface extends to at least one supply surface extending as far as the supply bore. The rakers of the drive links move above the lubricant surface with a narrow spacing. The lubricating oil supplied via the supply bore is guided via the supply surface to the lubricant surface where it forms a film into which the rakers extend as the saw chain revolves. This assures that the supplied lubricating oil is picked up by the rakers and carried by them to the link locations of the saw chain thereby assuring very effective lubrication.
