A shopping cart is configured to roll along a supporting surface and includes a chassis, a basket, a rear leg, a rear wheel, and a rotational brake. The basket is supported above the chassis. The rear leg extends downwardly from the chassis. The rear wheel is rotatably coupled to the rear leg and is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The rear wheel defines an outside perimeter configured to contact and roll along the supporting surface. A rotational brake is coupled to the rear leg and extending radially away from the rotational axis in a rearward and downward direction beyond an outside perimeter of the rear wheel. The rotational brake is configured to impede rotation of the chassis and the basket about the rotational axis.

A shopping cart includes a wheeled base and a basket. The basket is supported above a wheeled base and includes a hook. The basket defines a compartment, a top mouth open to the compartment, and an open slot positioned below the top mouth. The open slot is defined between a top edge and a bottom edge thereof, and the bottom edge is positioned opposite the top edge. The hook downwardly depends from the top edge of the open slot toward the bottom edge of the open slot to a free bottom end of the hook. The hook is configured to selectively receive a handle of a bag after the handle of the bag is wrapped around a portion of the basket defined between the open slot and the top mouth of the compartment, such that the bag selectively hangs along an outside surface of the basket opposite the compartment.

The invention relates to a push handle unit, in particular a multi-piece push handle unit, comprising at least one first and at least one second end piece, each end piece having at least one self-supporting grip unit that rises up, at least one horizontal attachment piece, at least one arcuate corner node, and at least one fastening device for fastening the respective end piece to a transport cart guided by hand, the self-supporting grip unit that rises up consisting at least of one grip unit receptacle () and at least of one grip unit insert, the horizontal attachment piece and the grip unit receptacle being formed on the arcuate corner node in such a way that a continuous transition between the horizontal attachment piece and the grip unit is formed by means of the arcuate corner node.

Push handle unit

The invention relates to a push handle unit having at least one transverse strut and having two end pieces which in the assembled state are arranged at the ends of the transverse strut and have a device for fastening to a manually movable transport trolley, wherein the push handle unit has a free-standing, projecting gripping unit on each of the two end pieces. The gripping unit consists in each case at least of a gripping unit receptacle and of a gripping unit insert, and a gripping unit is formed on each end piece. The invention further relates to a manually movable transport trolley having such a push handle unit.
