A device for detecting the condition of flow in a respiration system combines the function of a nonreturn valve with the function of flow measurement in a common device. The device includes a valve arrangement () with a valve disk () and with a valve body (), wherein the position of a valve disk () in relation to a valve seat () is detected. An indicator for a flow and a direction of flow (), () is determined from the position of the valve disk (). The position of the valve disk () can be determined inductively, electrically, electromechanically or optically. The flow and direction of flow (), () determined can be used to control the respiration in a medical device.

Device for determining a condition of flow in a respiration system

A medical workstation and workstation system for patients includes a bed for positioning the patient in the lying position, a plurality of mobile work units, which are connected to the bed, a control unit, which is arranged at the bed and which can be connected via a first supply cable to a stationary media port, on the one hand, and via a second supply cable to a mobile media port, on the other hand, for supplying a work unit. The control unit is designed as a distribution unit, to which a plurality of mobile work units () are connected via connection cables.

An incubator for infants with air feed arranged between the lying surface and the housing and with an air return, as well as with a fan and an air heater associated with it. To ensure a uniform temperature in the area of the lying surface and a stable warm air curtain in the area of the longitudinal sides of the incubator, the air feed is designed in the form of free jets using nozzles with diffusors arranged downstream, in the form of slots. Exhaust slots are provided for the air return on both narrow sides of the lying surface.
