A plug-in connector and a mating plug-in connector of a plug-in connector system includes at least one latching pin and, respectively, at least one latching receptacle. The at least one latching pin and the at least one latching receptacle can be plug-connected to each another and, in the plug-connected state, can be disconnected from each other again with the application of an individual disconnection force and are jointly configured for generating a specified amount of a total disconnection force for the plug-in connector system.

High-current plug-in connector system and method for setting its total disconnection force

A ferrule can be assembled in the field. A ferrule collar has a non-circular, in particular polygonal outer contour. A corresponding coding region of a ferrule housing is arranged in a portion of a contact chamber on a cable-connection side and has a non-circular, in particular polygonal cross section, in which the ferrule collar is held with a form fit over the entire spring displacement path. The ferrule spring acts on the ferrule collar over the entire displacement path. As a result, the ferrule is secured against rotation about its axis by a high holding force, which makes it easier for a fibre-optic cable to be screwed on. The structural form is particularly well-suited for use in a plug-in connector module.

Ferrule that can be assembled in the field, and associated ferrule housing

A retaining frame for retaining plug-connector modules and/or plug connectors for installation in a plug connector housing, has two side parts each with at least one surface and at least one frame element designed to be fitted together to form the retaining frame. The surfaces of the side parts, once joined together, form a fastening surface having at least one recess for receiving a plug connector. The frame elements of the side parts of the retaining frame, once joined together, are spaced apart from one another and form at least one receiving region for receiving the plug-connector modules. On the fastening surface, at least one fixing element is provided, which can be fixed there in such a way that the side parts joined together to form the retaining frame are fixed, and that a plug connector accommodated in the recess is also axially fixed in the retaining frame.

Retaining frame

Disclosed is a connector assembly having a first connector part and a second connector part. The first connector part includes a lever mounted on a base body of the first connector part for pivotable movement about a pivot axis (C) between first and second positions relative to the base body. The connector assembly can be brought from a ready-to-mate state into a mated state by relative movement of the first and second connector parts towards each other along a connection axis and vice versa. At least one engaging portion of the lever interacts with at least one counter-engaging portion of the second connector part in such a way, that the connector assembly is forcibly brought from the mated to the ready-to-mate state by pivoting the lever from the first position into the second position when the connector assembly is in the mated state.

Connector assembly

A plug-in connector has a plug-in connector housing, an insulating body and a contact. The plug-in connector is rectangular and is designed to be mounted on a device wall or on another surface. The contact of the plug-in connector is also rectangular and in the form of a single piece. A two-part insulating body which is placed in the plug-in connector housing from two directions is necessary for assembling the plug-in connector.

The invention relates to a device for fixing a cable to a cable outlet connector (), consisting of a clamping sleeve (), a locking collar (), and a locking slide (), wherein the locking collar () encloses at least a part of the cable outlet connector () and at the same time encloses at least a part of the clamping sleeve (), whereby the clamping sleeve () is held on the cable outlet connector (), and wherein the locking slide () can be introduced into a guide () of the locking collar () provided for this purpose, and wherein the locking slide () comprises detent openings () which engage via detents () of the cable outlet connector () provided for this purpose such that the clamping sleeve (), the locking collar () and the cable outlet connector () are captively connected to each other.

Device for fixing a cable to a cable outlet connector

A system connector includes a first housing half, and a second housing half matching the first housing half. The two housing halves are snappable and lockable to each other via a locking device, and there is at least one contact module arranged in each of the housing halves. The contact module includes socket-like and/or pin-like electrical contact elements. An adapter module that is mountable on the contact module has a first connection side and a second connection side, each of which includes cylindrical adapter elements arranged in a row, in which socket contacts or pin contacts are arranged. The adapter module on its first connection side is connectable to one of the contact modules arranged within one of the housing halves. The socket contacts or pin contacts of the adapter element of the second connection side are suitable for electrical contacting of the contact modules of the matching housing halves.

A plug connector system for a plug connection between electrical conductors, wherein the plug connector system accommodates plug modules with electrical contacts contained therein. The plug modules are first inserted into a region of a holding frame. A plug insert may be arranged in the holding frame and locked in place, and then subsequently slid 90&#xb0; sideways in the holding frame and held in place. The holding frame is designed as a self-supporting part of the plug connector system, for the purpose of accommodating the plug modules, and can provide protection from external influences by means of a surrounding housing. The plug modules can be inserted into the holding frames from both sides, meaning in the direction in which the connection is made, or also in the opposite direction.

In addition, in contrast to conventional arrangements used to date in plug connectors, the plug modules can be inserted into the holding frames from both sides, meaning in the direction in which the connection is made, or also in the opposite direction, and can be removed again.
