A method for controlling a wall system when creating a separating cut in a workpiece between a first and a second end point is disclosed. The wall saw system includes a wall saw having a saw head, a pivotable saw arm, a saw blade and a blade guard. The separating cut is carried out in a plurality of main cuts. The pivoting movement of the saw arm in a main cutting angle is carried out in at least two steps with at least one intermediate angle, where a free cut of the saw blade is carried out in the respective intermediate angle between the pivoting movements of the saw arm.

A percussion mechanism includes a first shaft and a second shaft. One or more vanes are fastened to the first shaft. The vanes are arranged so as to be rotatable in a chamber of the second shaft. The chamber is filled with a magnetorheological fluid. A magnetic field source on the second shaft generates a magnetic field that is spatially modulated in the circumferential direction inside the chamber.

Percussion mechanism

A hand-held power tool has a motor, a tool holder, and a percussion mechanism disposed between the motor and the tool holder in the drive train. The percussion mechanism includes a first shaft and a second shaft. A magnetically conductive ring gear is connected to the first shaft. An inner wall of the ring gear is eccentric to an axis of the second shaft. A magnetically conductive impeller is connected to the second shaft and is arranged to rotate within the ring gear. The impeller is spaced from the ring gear by a first air gap in a first position while being spaced from the ring gear by a second air gap in a second position, the first air gap being smaller than the second one. A magnet array is arranged coaxially to the second shaft. A magnetorheological fluid fills a cavity between the ring gear and the impeller.

A hand-held power tool, in particular in the form of a hammer drill or an impact screwdriver, is disclosed. The tool has a tool receptacle attached to an output shaft for receiving a tool, where the output shaft may be set into a rotating and partially percussive motion by a drive shaft and a tangential striking mechanism. The tangential striking mechanism has an anvil allocated to the output shaft and a hammer allocated to the drive shaft. The hammer can be moved axially under the application of the force of a spring and a sliding block guide, and can be struck against the anvil with the rotation of the same. The sliding block guide has a helical control contour which has a first slope in a first section and a second slope in a second section, where the first and second slopes are different.

A handheld power tool, including a tool socket on a drive shaft for purposes of holding a tool, the drive shaft executing a rotating and partially tangentially striking movement using a tangential striking mechanism drivable by a drive. The tangential striking mechanism has an anvil associated with the drive shaft and a hammer associated with the drive, movable with respect to each other so as to strike each other axially when under the effect of the force of at least one first spring, and to strike each other tangentially when the anvil and the hammer are rotated. The hammer has a main mass, and an extra mass that is under the effect of a second spring couplable to the main mass.

Handheld power tool

A control method for a power tool and a power tool is disclosed. The control method has an operating mode and a safety mode. In the operating mode, a motor drives a tool receptacle in a rotating manner. In the operating mode, the motor has a power consumption in the amount of at least an operating value. The safety mode is triggered if a sensor device detects a rotational blockade of the tool receptacle. In the safety mode, a clutch that is switchable by electrical signals located in the drive train between the motor and tool receptacle is periodically opened and closed and a power consumption of the motor is reduced as compared to the operating value.

A hand-operated rotary power tool and a method of operating the tool is disclosed. The tool has an electric motor for driving a rotary tool, a sensor device for detecting a blockade of the tool and a triggering device, which, in response to a blockade detected by the sensor device, reverses a direction of rotation of the electric motor prior to the blockade for a predetermined duration and immediately following induces the electric motor to again rotate in the direction of rotation.
