A fluid rotary passage is provided for sealing a fluid pressure chamber between a rotatable shaft and a shaft seat. The fluid rotary passage includes a sealing ring carrier and a fitting body, rotationally fixed or in contact with one of the shaft and the shaft seat in a fluid-tight manner and radially spaced from each other to create the chamber between them. Two sealing rings are provided axially spaced from each other and each sealingly applied with one contact surface against the carrier and one against the fitting body, for sealing the chamber against the outside. The carrier and the fitting body together form two axially spaced receiving grooves for the sealing rings, which are open toward the chamber and have at least one holding protrusion at least partially securing the sealing ring disposed in the respective receiving groove against a radial dislocation from the groove toward the chamber.

A pressure portion () includes a receiver () for adjustable lateral support of a rack (Z) for a steering arrangement of vehicles. The pressure portion () arranged in positionally variable relationship guided linearly in a guide passage (F) for adjustment of the support of the rack (Z) in an adjustment direction (e), and enlarged or expanded for at least partial contact at an inside wall side in the guide passage (F) with respect to a directional component (r) which is radial relative to the adjustment direction (e). The pressure portion () has radially at an outside thereof an elastomeric force application aid () for transmission of forces from the pressure portion () to an inside wall () of the guide passage (F).

A rotary oil feedthrough is provided for sealing off a pressurized oil compartment between a rotatable shaft and a shaft mount, where the rotary oil feedthrough displays a radial oil passage for connecting an oil duct of the shaft and/or the mount to the pressurized oil compartment in fluid-permeable fashion, and has a seal arrangement that seals off the pressurized oil compartment on both sides in the axial direction of the shaft. The rotary oil feedthrough displays a sealing ring carrier that can be fastened to the shaft or the mount in non-rotating and fluid-tight fashion, the sealing ring carrier being arranged coaxially to the shaft or the mount, and an adapter that can be positioned on the other component of shaft and mount in fluid-tight fashion, and is surrounded laterally by the sealing ring carrier in the axial direction of the shaft. Located between sealing ring carrier and adapter are two axially separated sealing rings that each lie on the sealing ring carrier and the adapter in sealing fashion in order to seal off the pressurized oil compartment in the axial direction of the shaft, and that can be rotated relative to the sealing ring carrier and/or the adapter. The rotary oil feedthrough displays the longest possible service life, the minimum possible leakage, and good response characteristics, and is of simple structural design.

An optical collector includes an optical input for incoupling light from multiple incoming optical waveguides into the collector and an optical output for outcoupling light from the collector into an outgoing optical waveguide. The collector includes an optical body having a base portion in which the optical input including at least two coupling points is arranged, and a tip portion in which the optical output including a second coupling point is arranged, wherein the first coupling points each include an optical input cross-sectional area and the second coupling point comprises an output cross-sectional area, and wherein the output cross-sectional area is smaller than the total of all input cross-sectional areas. The optical body of the collector can be cone-shaped and may include a hollow cone.

The invention relates to a sealing ring for sealing two components moving relative to each other, particularly a rotary shaft seal or piston ring, with a radially internal or external sealing surface that can be brought into contact with one of the components to form a seal against a fluid medium. On one side of the sealing surface the sealing ring displays a pressurizing surface to be pressurized by the fluid medium and, on the opposite side, a supporting surface to the side of the sealing surface for positioning against a groove flank of a component accommodating the sealing ring. The pressurizing surface and/or the supporting surface are inclined relative to the sealing surface and enclose an angle of less than 90&#xb0; towards it, where the ring is capable of radial compression towards a radially internal sealing surface, or of expansion towards a radially external sealing surface.

The invention relates to a sealing arrangement with an elastic sealing ring, which is located in sealing fashion between a first and a second component in a continuous groove () running around the first component, and is compressed in the groove in installed state, deforming its cross-section. At least one supporting ring () is provided, which lies in sealing fashion against the sealing ring, while an opposite, supporting surface () lies against a groove flank () The supporting ring () is positioned by the compressed sealing ring () in its position at the gap () to be sealed between the first and second components. As a result, extrusion of the sealing ring through the gap provided between the two components to be sealed is prevented.
