A hybrid vehicle having a rear-mounted internal combustion engine, an electric energy accumulator, and at least one electric machine which is provided as a generator for charging the electric energy accumulator during an energy recovery phase and respectively as at least an additional drive to the internal combustion engine during a drive phase, wherein the internal combustion engine drives the rear axle of the hybrid vehicle, and wherein the electric machine, or each electric machine is provided at a distance from the rear axle, in particular in the region of the front axle.

Hybrid vehicle

A method is employed for starting an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle drive which is driven by an electric motor. A speed of the internal combustion engine is adjusted to a target speed. The internal combustion engine speed exceeds the target speed over a predefined time by a predetermined speed differential.

Method and apparatus for starting an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle drive

A hybrid drive arrangement for a vehicle with an internal combustion engine for driving, under engine power, and at least one electric machine (), for electric driving, and with a double-clutch transmission. The electric machine () can be separated from the internal combustion engine by at least one separator clutch (), in the form of a wet-operating, hydraulically actuated disk clutch. The outer disk carrier () of the separator clutch () and the outer disk carriers (A) of the two double clutches, of the double-clutch transmission, are connected and mounted on the transmission housing ().

A hybrid vehicle has an internal combustion engine () and a hybrid drive () that has an electric machine () and a transmission () having a drive output. During driving under purely internal combustion engine () power, only the internal combustion engine provides a drive torque at the drive output. During driving under purely electric motor power, only the electric machine () provides a drive torque at the drive output. During hybrid driving, the internal combustion engine () and the electric machine () each provide a drive torque at the drive output. The hybrid vehicle also has a pump unit (). The pump unit () can be driven by the electric machine () of the hybrid drive ().

A device for sealing a double clutch transmission of a motor vehicle, with a transmission housing, in which are arranged a clutch chamber with clutch oil and a double clutch, a transmission chamber with transmission oil and a double clutch transmission wheel set and two co-axial drive shafts disposed, one inside the other. One drive shaft is an interior central shaft which extends inside the transmission chamber from the end of the second hollow drive shaft. The two drive shafts each have a sealing element to seal the clutch chamber from the transmission chamber. A mounting component is situated inside and fixed to the transmission housing to support two adjacent sealing elements. A first sealing element forms a seal radially on the hollow drive shaft and a second sealing element forms a seal radially on the central drive shaft to provide a reliable seal and offer a simple ventilation and leakage detection.

Sealing device for a dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle

A method and a device control a hybrid vehicle drive. The device contains a multiplicity of control parameter sets having different recovery torques for a conversion control device which sets a recovery torque of the electric motor in an overrun phase, which recovery torques are assigned a respective driving mode indicator. A definition device is provided for defining a current driving mode indicator, as a result of which a control parameter set corresponding to the defined current driving mode indicator can be used to control the conversion control device in an overrun phase of the hybrid vehicle drive.

A device and method for heating a positive crankcase ventilation system in a hybrid vehicle includes a ventilation device, provided on a crankcase, and a supercooling cycle for cooling power electronics for an electric motor of the hybrid vehicle. The ventilation device is heatable by way of the supercooling cycle in order to prevent icing of the ventilation device.

A method is provided for starting a piston engine of a hybrid drive in an electric travel state. The hybrid drive includes at least the piston engine, an electric motor, a transmission, and a clutch situated between the piston engine and the electric motor. A converter lockup clutch, which is switchable into a slip state, is also provided. A slip is set at the converter lockup clutch, and a speed of the electric motor is then increased. The speed and the torque either do not change or only change in a predefined range at the output side of the converter lockup clutch. The clutch is closed to transmit a torque pulse, so that a first top dead center of the piston of the piston engine may be overcome. A predefined slip is then set at the clutch.

A method and a device for controlling a hybrid vehicle drive. The device contains a multiplicity of control parameter sets with different set point charge states for a high performance battery of the electric motor. The set point charge states are assigned to a respective operating mode of the vehicle. A definition device for defining a current operating mode of the vehicle, as a result of which a control parameter set which corresponds to the defined current operating mode of the vehicle can be used to control a charge mode of the high performance battery of the electric motor with a corresponding set point charge state.

A gearbox arrangement for a drive train of a motor vehicle, such as a double clutch gearbox arrangement or a power shift gearbox arrangement, has at least one group of gear-shifting elements () which can be actuated for engaging and disengaging at least one respective gear of the gearbox arrangement in that they are moved relative to a gearbox housing between at least one neutral position, in which no gear associated with the gear-shifting element is engaged, and at least one engaged-gear position, in which a gear associated with the gear-shifting element and the engaged-gear position is engaged. The arrangement according to the invention is characterised by at least one safety device () associated with the gear-shifting elements or with a group of gear-shifting elements, which takes a release position when all the gear-shifting elements are in their neutral position, and which can be moved from the release position to a safety position when one of the gear-shifting elements is moved into one of the engaged-gear positions, the safety device preventing the other gear-shifting elements from moving from their neutral position to an engaged-gear position.

Gear box arrangement with a gear-shifting element safety device for preventing the engagement of multiple gears of a gearbox

A drivetrain of a motor vehicle has an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, a transmission, and a torque converter with a converter bypass clutch. The drivetrain is controlled such that, during an electric operating mode in which the internal combustion engine is deactivated and the electric motor is activated, and/or during a recuperation operating mode in which the internal combustion engine is deactivated and the electric motor is operated as a generator, the converter bypass clutch is permanently closed, at least between shift processes of the transmission, in order to bypass the torque converter.

Drivetrain and associated operating method

A system and method for controlling a hybrid vehicle drive has a device for detecting a charging power of a heavy-duty battery for an electric motor, a device for determining at least one fuel consumption parameter for several different transmission gear positions at the detected charging power and for determining an optimized gear position in which the determined fuel consumption parameter indicates an optimized fuel consumption. The determining device controls the gear position of the transmission to the determined optimized gear position by via a transmission control device.

Method and system for controlling a hybrid vehicle

A method implements a starting process for an internal combustion engine which has a drive unit and a transmission with at least two transmission input shafts and a multiple clutch device, in particular a double clutch device. During the starting process, the first gear is engaged in a first clutch of the multiple clutch device and is activated, while the second gear speed is engaged in a second clutch of the multiple clutch device but not activated. During the starting process, a current velocity is compared with a predefinable reference velocity, and when the reference velocity is reached a control unit causes the first clutch to be opened and thus causes the first gear to be deactivated while, in parallel with this, the second clutch is closed and the second gear is thus activated.

Starting method for internal combustion engines with a double clutch transmission

A method operates a drive train the is formed of an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, a transmission and a first clutch that connects the internal combustion engine to the electric motor. During an operating state for applying a current requested torque to a transmission input with the electric motor switched on and the internal combustion engine switched off, the internal combustion engine is connected into the circuit by increasing the torque applied to the drive train by the electric motor before the internal combustion engine starts, in such a way that only the current requested torque is applied to the transmission input. Excess torque is extracted from the drive train by actuating the first clutch and applying the excess torque to the internal combustion engine in order to accelerate it. The internal combustion engine is started when its starting state is reached.

Operating method for a hybrid drive

A drive unit for a motor vehicle, having an engine unit and an axle differential arranged on the engine unit, as well as having drive shafts for the vehicle wheels disposed at least partially in the crankcase. The separating plane between the crankcase bottom part and the oil bearing housing of the crankcase acts as the bearing for at least one drive shaft.
