The invention relates to a compact filter element () for exchangeable use in a filter housing (). The compact filter element () has a filter body () with a longitudinal axis () and at least one seal () arranged in the area of a front end () of the filter body (), the seal having a seal section () which is arranged across the width () of a housing wall (), sealing same. The seal section () projects beyond a front surface () of the filter body () in the direction of the longitudinal axis (). The seal section () has a peripheral support wall () and at least one seal lip () integrally bonded to the outside of the support wall (), across the width () of the latter, wherein the support wall () and the seal lip () consist of a rubber elastic material.

Compact filter element

A filter device for filtration of gaseous fluids has a filter housing provided with a receptacle. A first filter element and a second filter element are arranged in the receptacle of the filter housing behind one another in an axial direction of the filter housing. A first bypass that bypasses the first filter element is provided. An inflow side of the second filter element is arranged axially behind the first filter element and is fluidically connected to the first bypass. Fluid to be filtered passes in a flow direction of the fluid through the first bypass to the inflow side of the second filter element.

Filter device, particularly for filtering gaseous fluids

A method for producing a tight joint between a multi-layer synthetic resin material and a filter medium by selectively melting a layer of the synthetic resin material which has a different thermal absorption capacity in comparison with the other layers by heating the synthetic resin material with infrared radiation, and then fusing the melted synthetic resin layer to the filter medium. A filter element produced by the method of the invention is also disclosed.

Method of producing a tight joint between a multi-layer synthetic material and a filter medium

The invention concerns a desiccant box for dehumidifying air, with a cylindrical outer housing (), a lid () that closes the outer housing, and an inner housing () to accommodate desiccant (). The lid () features at least one inflow opening () and at least one outflow opening (), the contour of the outer housing opposite the lid being curved. Moreover, another inner housing () is provided which is located in the area of the contour () and runs approximately along this contour, this inner housing being also filled with desiccant (), and the two inner housings (and) being connected to each other.

Desiccant box for dehumidifying air

An oil filter unit for arrangement in the oil sump of an oil circuit, particularly in an automatic transmission. The oil filter unit has a multi-part filter housing with a filter chamber disposed therein such that an oil inlet and an oil outlet communicate with the filter chamber. A filter element is sealingly mounted in the housing between the oil inlet and the oil outlet. The filter element has a pleated filter medium, which is sealingly enclosed by a frame, and the frame has seal contours designed to cooperate with the contours of the filter housing.

Oil filter unit

An axial flow filter element including alternating flat and folded media layers forming axial channels, one end of a first group of channels being sealed and the remaining channels being sealed at the other end so fluid flowing through the element passes from channels of the first group through the filter media to channels of the second group to exit the filter; channels of the second group adjoining each side of channels of the first group spaced from the edge of the filter element so fluid flows through the entire lateral area of the first channels; an annular sealing collar adjacent an axial end face of the filter element connected to the exterior of the element to seal the element in a housing; part of the collar projecting axially beyond the end face of the element, and a frame connected to the projecting part for radially supporting the collar.

Filter sealing system

An ion exchanger vessel having a housing for receiving an ion exchange material and an inlet line and a discharge line in the housing for feeding and discharging a liquid to be passed through the ion exchange material. To heat the liquid, a heating medium is guided through the ion exchanger vessel, such that the heating medium is separated from the liquid to be passed through the ion exchange material.

Ion exchanger container for a motor vehicle

A fuel module, especially for the diesel fuel of an auto-ignition engine, having a fuel tank () and a fuel filter (). The fuel tank () has a wall (), which encloses the volume of the fuel tank (), and the wall () has an opening in the region of the fuel filter (). The fuel filter () is sealed to the wall () in the region of the opening and contains a filter medium (), which is suitable for separating water from the fuel, which is to be cleaned. Also disposed within the fuel filter () is a water storage unit () in which water separated from the fuel is collected.

Fuel module

A filter insert () having an annular filter element () which is connected in a fluid-tight manner to a cover () on one axial end face () and to a base () on an opposite axial end face (). The filter element () has a central channel () in which a central tube () is situated. The central tube () extends between the cover () and the base () and communicates with a central opening () in the cover (). To ensure high stability of the filter () with a low manufacturing complexity, the central tube () is designed to have a variable length in the direction of its longitudinal central axis ().
