This invention solves the problem of what to do with the valve cap when it is removed from the valve while checking tire pressure. A cap holder elastic or rubbery projection on the pressure gauge is adapted to removably receive the cap. Caps have a standard internal female thread. The projection has ridges that increase the outside diameter to greater than the inside diameter of the threaded portion. The ridges as composed of a rubbery material that is so soft that they will bend without damage to the cap threads when the cap is pressed on to the projection. It will remain there securely while the operator is checking or adjusting the tire pressure.

Elastic tire valve cap holder

A baster for aspirating liquids from a roasting pan and distributing the liquids on the food roasting in the pan is a long straight tube with a rubbery bulb at a first open end. A second open end of the tube is narrow. The tube has a bend adjacent the second end. The bend is less than ninety degrees from the long axis of the tube. This enables the baster to more easily aspirate liquids from a roasting pan in the oven, since there is less vertical clearance required to reach the bottom of the pan. Use of this device does not require pulling the pan so far out of the oven than when basting as with straight basters.

Turkey baster

A nursing nipple is sealingly attached to a beverage container having a neck with a particular internal diameter by the invention. Sealingly attached below the nipple is an axial passage in fluid communication with the nipple. Many thin, resilient annular rings surround the passage. They have an external diameter larger than the internal diameter of the container neck. When the rings are forced into the neck of the container, they are compressed against the inner surface of the neck. This secures and seals the nipple to the container providing a convenient source of fluid for a baby.

Beverage bottle nipple and adapter

A holder is provided with a base having one or two depressions in its upper surface that can serve as a rest for one or two spoons when they are not in use to prevent their being contaminated by, or contaminating, a surface on which they are temporarily rested. The holder can also be used to temporarily hold a pair of tongs of the type that have two long handles pivotally joined at one end with a spring urging the free ends apart. The holder has a base with a pair of spaced-apart upright elements extending upward from the base. The handles are forced against the upright elements by the spring, which holds the tongs securely in a partially closed position for ease of grasping, and for economy of space. The one or two depressions are positioned to catch any drippings from the free ends of the tongs for sanitary operation.
