The invention relates to an automatic automated installation in which at least one robot () is used in at least one mode of operation in at least one work zone (). The installation comprises a closed space () equipped with at least one door () offering access to at least one operator intervention work station () which is situated in said work zone () of said robot, and means () for detecting the presence of an element () in said closed space () at said operator intervention work station (). The detection means () are arranged in said closed space () to delimit at least two zones () and are also associated with means () for control of said at least one mode of operation of the robot (), each zone () being associated with one mode of operation of the robot (). The detection means () are positioned a predetermined height from a floor () of said space (), said height being greater than the height of an empty pallet ().

Automatic automated installation

The invention relates to a method for grouping together products that arrive in line and are spaced apart from each other on an infeed conveyor (), consisting of: collecting the products on the fly by means of a pair of collectors () that move transversely relative to the products on said conveyor (); moving the products collected by collector (A) to a removal station () and, at the same time, replacing said collector (A) with the second collector (B) that, in turn, collects the products; and dropping off the products from collector (A) to the removal station () and bringing said collector (A) back to a collecting position while intersecting collector (B). The equipment includes a pair of carriages (), each of which has a collector (), said carriages being moved transversely and said collectors () being mounted on actuators () that move the collectors so as to transfer the latter from the removal position to a retracted position that makes it possible for said collectors () to intersect one other.

Method for grouping products together with a view to case packing same

The invention relates to a machine for forming groups of products that arrive in a line, separated on a feeding conveyor (), which includes vertically separated collectors () connected to chutes () that are arranged transversely relative to the feeding axis, said chutes () each comprising a mobile carriage () that supports a collector () by means of an actuator (), said carriages () and actuators () being vertically adjacent and controlled by a programmable automaton () suitable for controlling the cyclic polygonal movement of each collector (). The means for controlling the collectors () offer the possibility of organizing the capture of the products and, in particular, of selecting a number of collectors () suited to the group forming rates and/or the type of products () to be formed into groups.

The invention relates to a method for collecting products () arriving in line on a conveyor (), using a collector device () provided transversally relative to the advancement direction. The collector () deposits and drops the products collected at a take-up station () located on the side of said supply conveyor () the collector () is capable of a loop movement that can divided into a transverse movement combined with a longitudinal movement upwards of the queue, i.e. a movement opposite to that of the product supply conveyor. The equipment for implementing the method includes a table () provided at and along the conveyor (), a collector () carried by an appropriate structure for longitudinal and transverse movement above said conveyor () and said table (). The table () includes two panels () extending on either side of the supply conveyor () for depositing and dropping the products collected on either side of the conveyor () at the edge thereof.

The method for grouping stackable products arriving in line on a feed conveyor which has an accumulation function and a distribution function of the products, distribution being carried out sequentially to feed a supply conveyor which makes the products available so that they can be collected, the method including collecting the products distributed on the supply conveyor by a transversal collector which is mobile in a vertical plane, depositing the collected products on a take-up station which is located above the level of the supply conveyor and providing the collector with a loop movement, cyclical, in order to collect the products, deposit them and return to the point of departure.

An installation includes a machine () for packaging products () and of a robotic palleting station, both arranged in a same enclosure () that is provided with a door () that offers access to the palleting station. The installation includes a device which limits the range of movement of the robot () in the closed enclosure () in order to concentrate the displacements of its gripping head () in a restricted space which does not overlap with a safety space, which is defined according to a minimum distance measured from the immaterial barrier located in the enclosure in the vicinity of the door (). The limiting device includes an electric cam that limits, under the control of the steering control of the robot, the amplitude of the movement of the robot () around its main axis and reduces its movement speed.

The installation for the implementation of the method comprises a table () arranged at the level of and along the conveyor (), a collector () carried by an appropriate structure in order to be displaced longitudinally and transversally above said conveyor () and said table (). The table () is comprised of two panels () which extend on either side of the supply conveyor () in order to allow for the depositing and a dropping of the collected products on each side of said conveyor ().
