The tap/pressure regulator assembly, advantageously housed in a streamlined cowl forming a bottle-handling bonnet (C), comprises a body (1) intended to be mounted on a gas bottle and defining, on the inside, a gas utilization circuit, going to an outlet (3) via an isolating valve actuated by a lever (5) and via an adjustable pressure regulator (4, 25), and an independent filling circuit going from a filling fitting (6). The body (1) also carries high-pressure and low-pressure pressure gauges (8). Application especially to welding gases. FIG. 2 to be reproduced.

The present invention concerns a cutting head made of a cutting nozzle (2) with cutting oxygen duct (6) having radial ribs (11), the assembly being force fitted in a sheath (3) thus forming ducts of oxycombustible mixture (32). This nozzle which produces an improved heat dissipation can be made of reduced dimensions.

The pressure reducer body includes oppositely disposed bores for mounting inlet and outlet connecting devices, and the outer end of another bore defining a high pressure chamber in which the regulating valve is mounted, is adapted to receive a connecting device for a high pressure manometer defining a rest for a spring of a regulating valve which includes an annular truncated lining in which is force fittingly engaged a connecting rod between the regulating valve and the piston bounding the low pressure chamber. Applications to various pressure reducer arrangements for industrial use.

The invention concerns a cutting torch for iron and steel metallurgy which is provided with two oxygen cutting ducts, ending in two housings, for receiving two cutting inserts, or a heating nozzle and a cutting insert. In this manner, there is obtained a torch which may very rapidly be converted into a cutting torch with high heating capacity and single cutting jet, or into a cutting torch with high cutting speed provided with two cutting inserts.

The nozzle comprises an oxidizing outer heating ring and a carburizing inner heating ring surrounding the cutting jet. This nozzle is made in two parts respectively forming a unit (1) opf injectors and a cutting unit (2) in adjoining relation to each other in a transverse joint plane and in which are provided various passageways (4, 5). Grooves (7) are provided for putting the outer passageways (5) in communication with the inner passageways (4) so as to supply to the inner passageways (4) the required small quantity of oxygen for the inner heating ring from the oxy-fuel mixture supplied to the outer passageways (5).

This nozzle includes an outer case (1) and a core (2) which define in succession: a series of passageways (15) having a zone for the injection of fuel gas and comburent gas, a mixing zone of small section and a primary homogenization zone of larger section; an annular secondary homogenization zone (16) whose section is substantially equal to the total section of the preceding zone; a single acceleration passage (17) having a decreasing section; and a single outlet conduit (18) having a constant section. Application in oxyacetylene torches consuming a few cubic meters per hour acetylene.
