A method of communication over a single-wire bus between a transmitter device and at least one receiver device, wherein each data bit is transmitted in a frame successively including: a synchronization slot different from a reference voltage of the devices; a first idle slot in a state corresponding to the reference voltage of the circuit; a slot representing the data bit to be transmitted; a second idle slot identical to the first one; a slot intended to contain the state of an optional response bit; and an end slot identical to the idle slot.

Single wire bus communication protocol

A method of storage of digital data on a physical medium equipped with calculation circuitry, by ciphering the data using a symmetrical algorithm with a ciphering key independent from the recorder, and by transferring the ciphering key onto the medium or its calculation by an asymmetrical algorithm and a read method in which, on first reading from the physical medium, a user key is transferred to the calculation circuitry by an asymmetrical ciphering process, a ciphered key of the data ciphering key is calculated in the calculation circuitry of the medium and by a symmetrical algorithm with the user key, and the asymmetrical ciphering portion of the calculation circuitry are deactivated.

Protection of a digital content on a physical medium

A method and a system for sharing files recorded by non-divisible sections in a first memory, including dividing each section into subsets to which are respectively assigned specific access rights; storing, in a second memory, separate from the first one, a specification table comprising at least the location of each subset in the section, at least one key conditioning the access to this subset, and the rights assigned to the key; and conditioning the accesses to the subsets to their respective specifications by a control performed by a microprocessor.

Sharing of non-divisible files

A prior introduction into the memory of a document in a non-validated state, to be acquired by validation, and a function of acquiring the document, independent of the electronic purse function. When it is wished to acquire such a document, the sales terminal and the independent functions of acquisition and electronic payment of the card are put in communication. A document acquisition order is placed, transmitted to the acquisition function by the terminal. Verification of the presence in the card of the document to be validated and its authenticity and a verification of the presence and authenticity of an amount in the purse for the acquisition of a document are organized. If the two verification steps are positive, a simultaneously sending of a global agreement signal to each of the functions is organized in order simultaneously on the one hand to validate the document as an acquired document and on the other hand to debit the purse by the amount of the acquisition.
