The present invention provides a photolatent Ti-chelate catalyst formulation, comprising (i) at least one compound of the formula (I) wherein Ris C-Calkyl or C-Calkyl which is interrupted by one or more non-consecutive O-atoms; Y is formula (II) or optionally substituted phenyl; Yis formula (III) or optionally substituted phenyl; Yis formula (IV) or optionally substituted phenyl; Yis formula (V) or optionally substituted phenyl; R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rindependently of each other are hydrogen, halogen, optionally substituted C-Calkyl, or R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rindependently of each other are optionally substituted C-Caryl, provided that only one of R, R, Ris hydrogen and only one of R, R, Ris hydrogen and only one of R, R, Ris hydrogen and only one of R, R, Ris hydrogen; and (ii) at least one chelate ligand compound of the formula IIa, IIb or IIc, wherein Y' is formula (VI) or formula (VII); Y&#x2032;is formula (VIII) or formula (IX); R&#x2032;, R&#x2032;, R&#x2032;, R&#x2032;, R&#x2032;and R&#x2032;independently of each other have on of the meanings as given for R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand R; and R&#x2032;, R&#x2032;and R&#x2032;independently of each other have on of the meanings as given for R, Rand R. 

Photo-latent titanium catalysts

A titanium-oxo-chelate catalyst formulation, comprising: (i) at least one compound of the formula (I), wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rindependently of each other are for example hydrogen, halogen, C-Calkyl, C-Caryl which is unsubstituted or substituted; or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rtogether with the C-atom to which they are attached each form a C-Caryl group which is unsubstituted or substituted; or Rand Rand/or Rand Rand/or Rand Rand/or Rand Rtogether with the C-atom to which they are attached form a 5- to 7-membered carbocyclic ring; at least one chelate ligand compound of the formula (IIa), (IIb) or (IIc), wherein R, R, R, R, Rand Rare defined as above for formula (I), is suitable as photolatent catalyst formulation for polymerizing compounds, which are capable to crosslink in the presence of a Lewis acid. 

Photo-latent titanium-oxo-chelate catalysts

The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), a process for their production and their use in electronic devices, especially electroluminescent devices. When used as electron transport and/or host material for phosphorescent emitters in electroluminescent devices, the compounds of formula I may provide improved efficiency, stability, manufacturability, or spectral characteristics of electroluminescent devices. 

4H-imidazo[1,2-a]imidazoles for electronic applications

Functionalized nanoparticles, which are obtainable by combining in a first step a functionalized dyestuff, a silicon-based spacer and a catalyst, and in a second step reacting the product obtained in the first step with a co-reactive organic silicon, aluminum, zirconium or titanium compound. Optionally, the thus obtained functionalized nanoparticles can be combined or encapsulated with a polymer. The functionalized nanoparticles are useful as colorants and fluorescents in plastics, paints, inks, electronic materials, cosmetic articles, and the like.

Photo-latent titanium-chelate catalysts

The present invention discloses functionalized nanoparticles comprising on the surface a covalently bound radical of the formula (I) wherein the nanoparticles are SiO, AlOor mixed SiOand AlOnanoparticles, and wherein the general symbols are as defined in claim. These functionalized nanoparticles are for example useful as stabilizers and/or compatibilizers in organic materials, or as photoinitiators in pre-polymeric or pre-crosslinking formulations, or as reinforcer of coatings and improver of scratch resistance in coating compositions for surfaces.

The invention relates to novel colorants based on bismuth oxyhalide and bismuth oxycarboxylates, bismuth oxyenolates or bismuth oxysulfonates and to the use thereof as pigments and coating agents. They are preferably solid solutions, especially solid solutions mainly in the tetragonal crystal lattice of bismuth oxyhalide.
