The present disclosure relates to a broadband optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier insensitive to temperature comprises the first pulsed laser, the second pulsed laser, a pulse stretcher and a periodically poled nonlinear crystal. Via the proper arrangement of the non-collinear angles between the transmission directions of the signal light, the pump light and the idler light, to simultaneously satisfy the angular relationship required for constructing the non-collinear phase-matching configuration insensitive to wavelength and that required for constructing the non-collinear phase-matching configuration insensitive to temperature, the optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier not only can realize a broadband parametric amplification of the signal light (insensitive to wavelength), but also can effectively alleviate the phase mismatch in nonlinear crystal resulted from the excessively high local temperature (insensitive to temperature).

Broadband optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier insensitive to temperature

The present invention belongs to the technical field of lasers and provides a dual-chirped spectral optical parametric amplifier and an amplification method. A femtosecond laser assembly is configured to generate simultaneous pump and signal waves which successively pass through an input grating and an input collimator respectively. The various spectrum components of both the pump and the signal waves linearly disperse and focus on respective focal points, and present spatial chirps with opposite frequency gradients in the respective focal planes. A full-spectrum optical parametric amplification of the signal wave with the pump wave is performed via a fan-out periodically poled crystal, resulting an ultrabroad idler wave. The ultrabroad idler wave is separated from the hybrid waves via an optical splitter, and then passes successively through an output collimator and an output grating, and is Fourier transformed from frequency domain to temporal domain. An ultra-short pulsed laser with a long wavelength can be obtained eventually after a necessary dispersion compensation. The present invention provides a simple-structured optical parametric amplifier so as to obtain an ultra-short pulsed laser with a long wavelength.

Dual-chirped spectral optical parametric amplifier and amplification method

The present invention belongs to the technical field of lasers, and particularly relates to a periodically poled crystal and an optical parametric amplifier. The present invention provides a periodically poled crystal, including a first nonlinear region, a linear region and a second nonlinear region, wherein the first nonlinear region and the second nonlinear region both have periodically poled structures. The optical parametric amplifier having the periodically poled crystal can separate the idler wave from the signal wave besides achieving the basic function of optical parametric amplification because the by-produced idler wave transmits in a direction different from the directions that the signal wave and the pump wave transmit, and therefore the energy reflow is suppressed when the optical parametric amplifier has reached saturated amplification, and the performance of the optical parametric amplifier is significantly improved.

Periodically poled crystal and optical parametric amplifier

Provided is an optical parametric oscillation laser based on I-type quasi-phase matching. The optical parametric oscillation laser comprises a femtosecond laser pumping source (), an input coupling mirror (), an Mg:PPLN crystal (), an output coupling mirror () and a beam splitter prism (), wherein the femtosecond laser pumping source () of a synchronous pump, the input coupling mirror (), the Mg:PPLN crystal (), the output coupling mirror () and the beam splitter prism () are sequentially placed. Group velocity mismatching between near-infrared pump light and intermediate infrared signal light in the intermediate infrared optical parametric oscillation laser is eliminated by using the dispersion relationship between the crystal and the temperature and in a manner of adjusting the working temperature of the crystal, so that an optical parametric oscillation process can satisfy phase matching and group velocity matching at the same time, and therefore intermediate infrared ultrashort pulse laser with high power and wide spectrum is obtained.
