A gas turbine combustor part of a gas turbine includes a wall, containing a plurality of near wall cooling channels extending essentially parallel to each other in a first direction within the wall in close vicinity to the hot side and being arranged in at least one row extending in a second direction. The near wall cooling channels are each provided at one end with an inlet for the supply of cooling air, and on the other end with an outlet for the discharge of cooling air. The inlets open into a common feeding channel for cooling air supply, and the outlets open into a common discharge channel for cooling air discharge. The feeding channel and the discharge channel extend in the second direction.

A damping device for reducing pressure oscillations in a combustion system includes at least a portion provided with a first, outer wall, a second, inner wall, an intermediate plate interposed between the first wall and the second wall. This intermediate plate forms a spacer grid to define at least one chamber between said first wall and said second wall, first passages connecting each of said at least one chamber to the inner of the combustion system, and second passages connecting each of said at least one chamber to the outer of the combustion system. The second passages open at the same side of said chambers as the first passages, the second passages have a portion extending parallel to the inner wall. This parallel portion of said second passages is equipped with heat transfer enhancing means.

Near-wall roughness for damping devices reducing pressure oscillations in combustion systems

An exemplary burner arrangement and method for operating a burner arrangement are disclosed. During operation of the burner arrangement a hot combustion gas, including combustion air, flows essentially parallel to a burner wall through a mixing chamber, which is delimited by the burner wall, to a combustion chamber. In the mixing chamber the hot combustion gas is mixed with an injected fuel, where cooling air from the outside of the burner wall flows through effusion holes in the burner wall into an interior of the mixing chamber. The cooling air, on the outside of the burner wall, is deflected in a directed manner in its flow direction by means of deflection elements which are in a distributed arrangement.

A combustion device for a gas turbine includes an interior portion, an inner wall having a plurality of first passages and an outer wall having a plurality of second passages configured to cool the inner wall, each of the plurality of second passages having an outlet opening into a third passage. An intermediate layer is disposed between the inner wall and the outer wall and defines a plurality of chambers, each chamber forming a Helmholtz damper and being connected to the interior portion by at least one of the plurality of first passages and being connected to at least one of the plurality of second passages by at least one of the plurality of third passages.

A combustion device for a gas turbine that includes a portion having first and second walls that defines an inside of the combustion device, a zone between the first and second walls and an outside of the combustion device. A plurality of first passages connect the inside of the combustion device to the zone between the first and second walls and a plurality of second passages connect the zone between the first and second walls to the outside of the combustion device. A plurality of chambers are defined within the zone between the first and second walls, each chamber being connected with one first passage and at least one second passage. Each chamber defining a Helmholtz damper.

A burner for a combustion chamber of a turbine, with an injection device for the introduction of at least one gaseous and/or liquid fuel into the burner is proposed. The injection device has at least one body arranged in the burner with at least two nozzles for introducing the at least one fuel into the burner, the body being configured with a streamlined cross-sectional profile which extends with a longitudinal direction perpendicularly or at an inclination to a main flow direction prevailing in the burner. The carrier air plenum is provided with holes such that carrier air exiting through the holes impinges an inner side of a leading edge portion of the body.
