Adaptive configured grant allocation parameters for energy harvesting devices and XR applications

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select first resources to skip in each grant occasion of multiple grant occasions for communications on a physical uplink channel. The UE may transmit uplink control information (UCI) that indicates the first resources or second resources that are not to be skipped in each grant occasion of the multiple grant occasions. The UE may transmit the communications in the multiple grant occasions using the second resources and not the first resources. Numerous other aspects are described.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a network entity may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), scheduling information that allocates multiple uplink channels of a same channel type to the UE. The scheduling information may indicate respective sets of frequency resources for each of the uplink channels. The network entity may transmit an indication that uplink channel selection by the UE is enabled. The UE may select a first uplink channel from the multiple uplink channels allocated by the scheduling information based on the indication that uplink shared channel selection is enabled. The UE may transmit an uplink message via the first uplink channel, and the UE may refrain from transmitting via other uplink channels of the multiple uplink channels allocated by the scheduling information based on selecting the first uplink channel.

For example, a network entity may output, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a first control message identifying a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a second, different DRX cycle for the UE to use, the first and second DRX cycles having a first and second active duration, respectively. The network entity may also output a second control message identifying periodic resources for the UE to use to monitor for a periodic signal, the periodic resources being outside at least the first active duration. Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for flexible uplink transmission are provided. An example method may include receiving a configuration of resources for a PUCCH or a PUSCH associated with UCI, where the configuration of resources may be received from a network entity, where the UCI indicates a set of resources corresponding to a transmission in a first subset of resources associated with the PUSCH and a skipped transmission in a second subset of resources associated with the PUSCH or indicates an MCS for the PUSCH, where the UCI would overlap with an uplink transmission, where the set of resources may include the first subset of resources and the second subset of resources. The example method may further include transmitting at least one of the UCI or the uplink transmission to the network entity.

Flexible uplink transmission with UCI collisions

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate generally to logical channel prioritization for synchronization. Some aspects more specifically relate to a user equipment (UE) performing logical channel prioritization based on synchronization information. In some aspects, the synchronization information may include a synchronization threshold between two or more logical channels. For example, the two or more logical channels may be associated with traffic for a multi-modal service or application. A network node may configure the two or more logical channels with respective synchronization thresholds based on the multi-modal service or application.
