A computer process enables a target window associated with a first domain to receive a message from a child window associated with a second domain. The message is passed using an iframe that is created within the target window. The process may, for example, be used to relay information entered by a user into the child window to the target window.

Cross-domain communications between browser windows

An application deployment service (ADS) component receives a request to establish a communication channel for clients to submit deployment artifacts associated with an application. A set of endpoints are created for the channel. In response to receiving a message via one of the endpoints, the ADS determines that additional security verification operations are to be performed before a deployment task indicated in the message can be performed. After the security verification operations are completed, the task is implemented.

Custom communication channels for application deployment

One or more computing instances are instantiated and allocated to customers. The computing instances have a modifiable interruptibility property that is operable to allow a computing instance to be terminated or reallocated from a first customer to a second customer. Requests for additional computing instances having modifiable interruptibility properties are received. Information pertaining to the instantiated computing instances and requested additional computing instances is provided. An indication is received that a request has been received that exceeds a computing capacity. In response, additional computing capacity to allow fulfillment of the request is allocated.

Burst capacity for user-defined pools

Methods, systems and computer program products are provided in which a first 'sender' web browser window that is within a first domain can communicate with a second 'target' web browser window that is within a second, different domain. Pursuant to these techniques, an iframe may be provided within the target web browser window that has a source address that is within the first domain. The content of the iframe may be a function that forwards a received message to the target web browser window. The target web browser window may receive a message in response to the sender web browser window invoking the function of the iframe.

Secure cross-domain web browser communications

Systems and methods for authenticating a request submitted from a client device through a third party content provider to an electronic entity are described. In one embodiment, a method includes providing a trusted script to the third party content provider, passing a trust token to the third party content provider and to the client device, and, in response to a request submitted from the client device through the third party content provider, validating the trust token associated with the request with the token passed to the client device, and processing the request. The trusted script is configured to create a trusted window on the third party Web page displayed on the client computing device, receive a trust token from the electronic entity through the trusted window, and associate the trust token with requests submitted from the client computing device through the third party content provider to the electronic entity.
