Methods and systems for X-ray and fluoroscopic image capture and, in particular, to a versatile, multimode imaging system incorporating a handheld X-ray emitter operative to capture non-invasive images of a target; a stage operative to capture static X-ray and dynamic fluoroscopic images of the target; a system for the tracking and positioning of the X-ray emission to improve safety of obtaining X-ray images as well as improve the quality of X-ray images. Where the devices can automatically limit the field of the X-ray emission.

Imaging systems and methods

X-ray and fluoroscopic image capture and, in particular, to a versatile X-ray emitter operative to capture images of a target configured to track and position the X-ray emission relative to an image sensor that generates the X-ray image using the X-ray emission. The system is configured to prompt the user or operator of the X-ray system with various informational data to improve the outcome of the X-ray and decrease the frequency of X-ray emissions required to obtain a desirable X-ray image.

A system for instrument guidance is disclosed. The system can include an instrument guide device and a transducer system. The instrument guide device can include an instrument guide and an instrument guide bracket that includes a magnet, and the instrument guide bracket can be removably attachable to the instrument guide. The transducer system can include an ultrasound probe bracket that is removably attachable to an ultrasound probe. Further, the instrument guide device can removably attach to the ultrasound probe bracket. The ultrasound probe bracket can further include a first sensor and second sensor. The first sensor can wirelessly track a position of the magnet to determine position data of the instrument guidance system. And the second sensor can provide power or disengage power to the instrument guidance device when the instrument guide is attached or detached, respectively.

Systems, methods, and devices for instrument guidance

An electrosurgical device is described. The device can include a housing, a channel, and an actuator. The channel can comprise an electrode forming a tip. The actuator can be mechanically coupled to the electrode and the housing. The actuator can be configured to move between a first position and a second position and can be further configured to transition the tip from a retracted position when the actuator is at the first position to an extended position when the actuator is at the second position. A movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position can close an electrical circuit comprising the electrode and a source of electrical energy to generate a flow of current through the electrode for heating the tip to an elevated temperature suitable for cauterizing tissue.
