A modular display apparatus is disclosed. The modular display apparatus includes a plurality of display modules, and a controller configured to control the plurality of display modules, and the plurality of display modules include a plurality of scan groups, respectively, the controller is configured to transmit an image signal corresponding to the respective display modules based on an image frame, and the respective scan groups included in a first display module from among the plurality of display modules includes a plurality of scan lines arranged in one direction, a plurality of data lines arranged in a direction perpendicular to the plurality of scan lines, light emitting diodes generated at a cross area of the scan lines and the data lines, and at least one driver integrated circuit.

Disclosed are an electronic device and a controlling method of an electronic device. In particular, electronic device includes: a display panel divided into a plurality of regions; a panel driver configured to control driving of the display panel; a plurality of timing controllers configured to control the panel driver, each including two ports disposed in opposite directions, connected to each other through the two ports, and each corresponding to each of the plurality of regions; and a first processor configured to transmit a signal in a first direction through the plurality of timing controllers, wherein the plurality of timing controllers are configured to identify input/output directions of the two ports included in each of the plurality of timing controllers that correspond to the first direction in case of receiving a first signal including image data and a control instruction for transmitting the image data in the first direction from the first processor; and transmit the first signal in the first direction through the two ports included in each of the plurality of timing controllers and having the input/output directions identified as corresponding to the first direction. Various other embodiments are possible.

Electronic device and controlling method of electronic device

A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes at least one display module; a first interface configured to receive a first signal from a first display apparatus; a second interface configured to receive a second signal from a second display apparatus; and a processor configured to: repeatedly execute a first operation for identifying the first signal received through the first interface and a second operation for identifying the second signal received through the second interface, based on the first signal being identified while executing the first operation, display an image on the at least one display module based on the first signal received through the first interface without executing the second operation, and based on the second signal being identified while executing the second operation, display the image on the at least one display module based on the second signal received through the second interface without executing the first operation.

Display apparatus and method for controlling thereof

A cabinet and a method for controlling a cabinet constituting a modular display apparatus are provided. The cabinet constituting a modular display apparatus includes a plurality of display modules; a first interface; a second interface configured to be connected to a first cabinet adjacent to the cabinet; a memory configured to store at least one test image; and a processor configured to, based on a detection that a test device is connected to the first interface, control the plurality of display modules to display the at least one test image, and control the second interface to transmit the at least one test image to the first cabinet to be displayed on the first cabinet.
