An actuating device has an actuating member () pivotable in a first operating state about an axis (). The actuating member () is connected in a torsion-proof manner with a toothed member (). The toothed member (), in a second operating state, prevents pivoting movement of the actuating member (). The toothed member is coupled, in a lockable manner, with a detent member (). The detent memberis movably mounted with respect to the axis ().

Actuating device

A swivel device has a swivel shaft () rotatably mounted in a housing. A portion of the swivel shaft () projects from the housing (). A swivel lever () is fixably mounted on the shaft () and is swivelable relative to the housing (). The swivel lever () is arranged outside the housing (). A first part () of a stop is arranged externally on the housing (). A second part () of the stop is connected with the swivel lever (). The first () and second () parts of the stop form a rotational movement stop for the swivel lever (). The second part () of the stop is detachable from the swivel lever () and is reattachable to the swivel lever () in various positions on the swivel lever ().

Swivel device

An actuating device has a drive element with a cylinder () and a piston () having a piston rod (). A toothed rack () is provided outside the cylinder () on the piston rod (). The toothed rack () is implemented to cooperate with a gear element (). An actuating element (), pivotable in relation to the drive element, is situated in a rotationally-fixed manner with the gear element (). An intermediate gear element () is situated between the cylinder () and the gear element (). The intermediate gear element () cooperates, on one side, with the toothed rack () and, on the other side, with the gear element ().

A clamping device has a toggle lever mechanism () with a linearly movable actuator () and a pivot shaft () with a tensioning arm (). A mechanism to unlock an over-center position is coupled with the toggle lever mechanism. The mechanism includes a control element () that is arranged on the actuator () and a rocker (). The rocker () can be brought into adjusting contact with the control element (). The control element () is in the form of a control extension in a direction facing away from the pivot shaft. The actuator () is arranged between the pivot shaft () and the rocker ().

Clamping device

An electrically powered clamp has a housing, a motor attached to the housing, a ball screw driven by the motor via gears, and a linkage driven at one end by the ball screw such that the linkage rotates an output shaft attached to the other end of the linkage. The motor and gears drive the ball screw to a fully extended position to rotate the shaft to a clamped position or to a fully retracted position to rotate the shaft to an unclamped position. A built-in computer monitors and controls the clamp. The clamp can also be controlled and monitored by a remote pendant. Indicator lights on the housing and remote pendant convey clamp status information. The clamp is programmable and can memorize the clamped and unclamped positions. The clamp uses velocity and position feedback to determine appropriate drive mode. Torque monitors and timers determine if the clamp becomes stuck.
