A locking device for a buttress of a flying buttress hood of a vehicle, having a locking element for locking the buttress in a locking position and a display device for visually signaling the locking position. The display device has a display element which is coupled via a coupling element to the locking element and therefore a movement of the locking element into the locking position moves the display element via the coupling element into a first display position and, upon leaving the locking position, the locking element via the coupling element moves the display element from the first display position into at least one second display position.

Locking device for a buttress of a flying buttress hood

A vehicle component for a motor vehicle having a rear seat device with at least one headrest and having a wind deflector device with an extendable planar element for protecting front seats of the motor vehicle against relative wind. In an extended state, the planar element extends from a region behind the headrest to a region in front of the headrest. In this context, the headrest can be pivoted by a pivoting device from a position of use, in which the headrest projects beyond a height of the planar element in the extended state, into a position of rest. In the position of rest, the headrest is arranged under the extended planar element.

Vehicle component

An electric vehicle () has a charging flap () articulated on a support structure by way of a four-bar linkage arrangement () so that the charging flap () can be moved between a closed position (FIG.A) and an open position (FIG.F). To simplify the actuation of the charging flap, the mechanism for actuating the charging flap () has a push-push element () combined with a spring device () that is assigned to the four-bar linkage arrangement ().

Mechanism and method for actuating a charging flap

A folding top clamp for a vehicle has a connecting-link-controlled locking hook which can be displaced by guiding devices from a closed position to an open position. The locking hook interacts with at least one hook guide which is in an operative connection with a motor gearing unit. A folding top clamp having a simple structure and a compact construction is provided in that the motor gearing unit extends only on a longitudinal side of the locking hook and has an electric motor oriented transversely with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the vehicle, which electric motor interacts by way of a triple-geared-down gearing unit with a hook guide of the locking hook.
