The blister pack for medicinal products comprises a bottom film in which blister pockets are formed, which are surrounded by webs of the bottom film. The blister pockets comprise a two-level shape with a first recess and second recess situated lower down. A lidding film is sealed to the webs of the bottom film and to a strip of active material, which is arranged in each blister pocket. The medicinal product is accommodated in the second recess, and the strip of active material is accommodated in the first recess. The first recess comprises, in a bottom area thereof, a peripheral rib, which extends around the second recess, or at least two projecting knobs, which are arranged next to the second recess, wherein the strip of active material rests on the rib or on the knobs.

Blister pack for medicinal products and tool for producing the blister pack

The sealing roll includes a stationary internal shaft and an inductively heatable roll jacket supported with freedom to rotate around the shaft. A plurality of induction coils is wound around the shaft over ferrites, which are open to the outside. Cables for the induction coils are laid through a cable conduit in the shaft for connection to an external induction generator. A water cooling channel for indirectly cooling the induction coils is also arranged in the shaft. A cavity is formed in at least an axial subsection of the sealing roll between the roll jacket and the shaft, and at least part of a temperature detection device is arranged in the cavity or adjacent to the cavity so that an IR temperature sensor receives radiation emitted by the roll jacket and thus detects a temperature of the roll jacket.

Sealing roll

The device for sealing together a formed bottom sheet and a lidding sheet between a feed roll and a sealing roll has a heating unit for preheating the lidding sheet before the sealing operation. The heating unit is a contactless induction heating device which has coils and magnetic-field influencing elements which are arranged transversely to the travel direction of the lidding sheet and opposite at least one of the coils. The distance between each of the magnetic-field influencing elements and the at least one coil is adjusted by a control unit on the basis of measurement values of temperature sensors arranged downstream of the magnetic-field influencing elements in order to regulate the temperature profile of the lidding sheet.

Device for roll-sealing sheets

The method for inserting cotton wads into containers uses a wad transport unit, which comprises two star wheels, each having three wad holders. The two star wheels are mounted rotatably on the same rotational axis but with an offset from each other, and each star wheel is driven by its own separate drive means. During rotation of the star wheels, one of the three wad holders of each star wheel is horizontally shifted in such a way that the three wad holders of each star wheel are arranged in a straight line and are thus located above three containers to be filled with the wads.

Method for inserting cotton wads into containers

The device for inspecting separately conveyed tablets or capsules has a guide device for guiding the separately conveyed tablets or capsules, which defines a predetermined tablet pathway, and a heating element designed as a hotplate, which is arranged in an area of the guide device. The device further has an IR sensor for detecting radiation in an infrared range arranged opposite the heating element such that the tablet pathway passes between the heating element and the IR sensor, and an evaluation unit connected to the IR sensor and adapted to compare actual measurement values of the IR sensor with at least one predetermined nominal measurement value.

Device for inspecting small pharmaceutical products

The device for the quantitatively regulated delivery of bulk product includes a supply tank for the bulk product and a slider element, which forms the boundary of an outlet gap on one side. The slider element comprises on its front end an elastic, U-shaped loop, the upper part of which is fixed in position, whereas a rear portion of the lower part of the loop is connected to a linear drive. The linear drive can be used both to adjust the width of the outlet gap by translational movement of the lower section of the loop and to produce a small-amplitude back-and-forth movement of the lower section of the loop. In this way, it is possible to release bulk product of various shapes and sizes reliably and without damage in a quantitatively regulated manner.

Device for the quantitatively regulated delivery of bulk product

The device for thermoforming a sheet has two molds. The first mold includes a movable plug support plate and heated plugs projecting from the plug support plate, which plugs are spaced a predetermined distance apart. A plurality of induction coils is arranged stationary in an area of the device adjacent to the plug support plate, and the plug support plate has an induction element of inductively heatable material.

Device and method for thermoforming a sheet

A childproof package consists of a rectangular folding box of cardboard with at least one strip-like blister pack inside, which can be pulled out from one of the short, narrow sides of the folding box. The folding box is designed so that it can be reclosed in such a way as to be childproof again, and the folding box and the blister pack have cooperating means, which are designed so that the blister pack cannot be pulled completely out of the folding box.

Child-proof carton package

A childproof package consists of a rectangular folding box of cardboard with at least one strip-like blister pack inside, which can be pulled out from one of the short, narrow sides of the folding box. The folding box is designed to be reclosed in such a way as to be childproof again, and the folding box and the blister pack have cooperating means, which are designed so that the blister pack cannot be pulled completely out of the folding box.

A tool assembly for a thermoforming machine has a tool holder having an abutment face and a tool having an abutment part. The tool and holder have a groove and a rail fittable in the groove for fitting the tool to the holder into a working position with the abutment part abutting the abutment face. A part-conical seat centered on a tool axis is formed on the tool. A pin formed with a part-conical head face complementary to the seat and centered on a pin axis is carried on the holder. The seat and head are positioned on the tool and holder such that in the working position the axes are generally parallel but slightly offset from each other and the part-conical head face is axially engageable with the seat.

A transfer apparatus has a drive disk rotatable at a transfer station about a central axis and defining an eccentric axis offset from the central axis. An inner drive shaft centered on the eccentric axis is rotatably journaled in the drive disk at the eccentric axis. An inner arm is fixed to and extends angularly from the inner drive shaft. An outer arm is pivoted at the inner-arm outer end, and a grab is pivoted on the outer-arm outer end. A drive rotates the drive disk about the central axis and thereby orbits the inner arm, the outer arm, and the grab about the central axis. An inner controller changes an inner angle formed between the inner arm and the outer arm, and an outer controller changes an outer angle formed between the grab and the outer arm.

Package-transfer apparatus

A pocket roll centered on and rotatable about a respective axis has an outer surface formed with an array of open pockets separated by directed lands. The pocket-roll outer surface has a predetermined coefficient of friction. A blister foil is fed to the pocket roll with blisters of the blister foil fitting in the pockets. A seal roll rotatable about a respective axis adjacent the pocket roll has an outer surface pressing a cover foil against the blister foil so that the foils are pinched between the rolls. Slip inserts set in at least some of the lands, extend axially of the pocket-roll axis and form in the respective lands axially extending outer-surface regions having coefficients of friction smaller than the coefficient of friction of the pocket-roll outer surface. A position-correcting unit has a sensor and detects and adjusts the positions of the blisters relative to the direction.

Apparatus for sealing a cover foil to a blister foil

An apparatus for loading small objects into respective blisters of a foil web has a plurality of substantially identical fill plates each having an array of receptacles corresponding to the blisters of an area of the foil. A conveyor moves the fill plates one after another in a transport direction at an upper level from a fill station remote from the web to a transfer station close to the web, then lowers them to a lower level, then returns them in an opposite return direction from the transfer station to the fill station, and finally raises them in the transfer station to the upper level. At the fill station the receptacles of the plates are filled with the small objects. At the transfer station the small objects are taken out of the receptacles of the plates and put into the blisters of the web.
