A method for processing a flowable product using a centrifuge includes pretreating the flowable product so that particles in the flowable product are increasingly attracted by electrically charged components, feeding the flowable product into the disc stack, generating an electric charge on the discs of the disc stack, and separating the charged particles from the flowable product within the disc stack under the influence of electrostatic attractive forces and a centrifugal field.

A method for acquiring at least one or a plurality of recyclable materials, in particular phytic acid, from a native material quantity containing phytic acid or phytate is provided. The method involves providing a native, reduced material quantity containing phytic acid and/or phytate made from seeds containing phytic acid. The reduced material quantity is pre-treated in order to obtain a flowable alkaline, preferably alcoholic-alkaline mash. A solid phase, which has phytic acid and/or at least one phytate, is separated from the mash. Phytic acid and/or at least one phytate is isolated from the solid phase.

In an embodiment, the method includes: A): providing a native mixture of materials from seeds having hard fragmentable hulls; B): comminuting the mixture of materials; C): dispersing the comminuted mixture of materials with water; D): adjusting a pH of the pulp of step C) to an alkaline range pH&#x3e;9.5; E): adding a water-soluble organic solvent alcohol to the pulp; F): separating off a solids phase from the pulp, which has a predominant fraction of the hulls, to form a hull-free pulp; G): shifting the pH of the hull-free pulp from step F) to a pH range of pH=4.5 to pH=7.2; and H): separating the hull-free pulp of step G) into a plurality of phases, wherein one of the plurality of phases is a protein concentrate phase.
