A linear actuator () comprising a first part () and a second part () is disclosed. The first part () is arranged to rotate along with a rotating part () of a motor (), and the second part () is arranged to drive an actuated part (). A coupling () interconnects the first part () and the second part () to allow the second part () to rotate along with the first part () at the same angular velocity as the first part (). The coupling () defines a fit tolerance between the first part () and the second part () allowing the first part () to rotate a predefined distance before engaging the second part () and rotating the second part () along with the first part (). The fit tolerance ensures that the first part () reaches a certain angular velocity and thereby that the resulting torque transfer from the first part () to the second part () is sufficient, e.g. to release the actuated part () from a pre-tensioned state.

The present invention relates to a top cover () for soft throttling valve body (), the top cover () comprising one or more fluid conduits for transferring a pilot fluid flow for setting a degree of opening of a main valve situated in a soft throttling valve body to the soft throttling valve body. Furthermore, the invention relates to a soft throttling valve () and a method for assembling the soft throttling valve (). The object of the invention is to allow a good control of the pilot fluid flow while protecting the soft throttling valve body from damage due to valve failure. The object is solved by having a follower arrangement arranged to throttle the pilot fluid flow depending on the degree of opening of the main valve, further having a manual opening arrangement for manually opening the main valve and/or by further preventing a step-wise opening of the main valve in less than two opening steps. A method for assembling a soft throttling valve is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a pilot valve arrangement () comprising a pilot valve device () which comprises a pilot valve element (), a pilot valve seat () cooperating with the pilot valve element () and a presetting mechanism for presetting an opening pressure of the pilot valve element (), the pilot valve arrangement () further comprising a presetting mechanism actuating device () which comprises an actuator element () adapted to create an actuating force in order to actuate the presetting mechanism in the pilot valve device so as to preset the opening pressure. According to the invention, the pilot valve arrangement () comprises a contactless force coupling arrangement adapted to transfer the actuating force from the presetting mechanism actuating device () to the pilot valve device (). An inventive pilot valve device () is disclosed and claimed as well. The invention allows to improve maintenance and safety concerning the devices mentioned above.
