A steam turbine having a turbine housing which has a plurality of turbine housing parts and surrounds a flow space along a turbine longitudinal axis, the turbine housing having a housing wall, a join being formed between two adjacent turbine housing parts. On a side of the housing wall facing the flow space, there is at least one flow shield which shields a wall section of the housing wall from a flow in the flow space. An interstice is formed between the flow shield and the wall section of the housing wall. The interstice has, at least in one region, an opening to the flow space, a fluid-communicating connection of the interstice to the flow space being formed via the opening.

A sealing system for sealing a sealing gap between an outer housing and a rotor shaft of a rotor of a steam turbine, having a blocking medium wall for producing a blocking medium area between the rotor shaft and the outer housing in the region in front of and/or in the sealing gap, wherein the blocking medium wall is secured to the outer housing. The sealing system also has a blocking medium opening in the blocking medium wall in order to feed a blocking medium from the outside into the blocking medium area. The sealing system also has a shaft seal for sealing the blocking medium area from a second area, which has a second pressure that is lower than the first pressure, and a sliding ring seal for sealing the blocking medium area from a third area, which has a third pressure that is lower than the second pressure.

The blade has a blade airfoil having a first extent in a substantially radial orientation in relation to a rotational axis of the turbomachine and a second extent which is configured transversely with respect to the first extent, and comprising a blade root which adjoins the rotor blade and rounds off the rotor blade in the first extent. The blade has graphene at least in regions. A method for producing a blade of this type is also provided.

A method for producing a condenser for a thermal power plant is provided. First, the production method includes fitting a condenser tube in a carrier for a condenser tube bundle of the condenser. Then, the fitted condenser tube is coated with a hydrophobic coating. Coating the fitted condenser tube includes positioning a spray mechanism on the carrier, spraying on the hydrophobic coating using a spray mechanism, and moving the spray mechanism during spraying at a uniform rate. An apparatus, especially a steam turbine, including a first delimiting part and a second delimiting part is provided. The delimiting parts are attached to one another forming a joint and enclosing at least a part of a first pressure chamber. A shielding element is also provided on the sides of the delimiting parts facing towards the first pressure chamber and is arranged to form a seal completely covering the joint, so that a cavity is formed between the delimiting parts and the shielding element. A line is routed in the cavity connecting the cavity to a second pressure chamber. The aim of the invention is to provide a superheated component of a steam turbine installation with high thermal and mechanical resistance. To this end, the component comprises a lining applied to a body of the component, on a hot side facing a steam chamber, said lining being adapted to the contour of the component body. According to the invention, the lining comprises a number of molded parts, each molded part comprising a metallic and ceramic composite layer formed from at least one metallic layer and at least one ceramic layer. The ceramic layer is used especially as a insulating layer, and the metallic layer is especially used as a support or for protection against abrasion and/or erosion.

The invention relates to a turbine installation, especially a steam turbine installation. The inventive turbine installation comprises at least two partial turbines, each of the partial turbines having a rotor disk that extends along the main axis. Said rotor disks are rigidly interlinked to a shafting. At least one of the partial turbines has an inner housing that concentrically encloses the rotor disk and that is mounted so as to be axially displaceable in a bearing area. To allow for an axial displacement a push element transmits the axial force and is linked with the inner housing. In order to allow the inner housing to be axially displaced as easily as possible, the bearing area has a bearing device with a static friction and/or sliding friction that is so low that the axial misplacement that spontaneously occurs when the static friction is overcome during displacement of the inner housing is smaller 2 mm.

A sealing configuration is provided for sealing off a first region from a second region through which a fluid can flow and which can be kept at different pressures. A method of manufacturing a multilayer turbine casing includes inserting a core representing an intermediate layer into a casting mold while forming a cavity for the inner layer and/or the outer layer. The cavity is then filled with a casting material, with the core expediently remaining as the intermediate layer in the casing wall. Alternatively, first of all a U-shaped profile part is made and an intermediate space formed by the outer layer and the inner layer is filled with the bulk material.
