The method is for operating a wind turbine having a wind turbine component and a setting system for executing at least two different measures for reducing the likelihood of overloading the component. First trigger information is provided, which is representative of whether the likelihood of overloading the wind turbine component exceeds a first threshold. If this is the case, a first output signal is generated which is configured to cause the setting system to execute a first measure for reducing the likelihood of overloading the wind turbine component. Second trigger information is provided which is representative of whether the likelihood of overloading the wind turbine component exceeds a second threshold after the first measure was executed. If so, a second output signal is generated which is configured to cause the setting system to execute a second measure for reducing the likelihood of overloading the wind turbine component.

Method for operating a wind turbine and wind turbine

A method is disclosed for controlling a wind turbine, where the wind turbine includes with a tower and a rotor and comprises having at least one rotor blade with an adjustable blade pitch angle, and where a change in a power value takes place in a time interval (TE) and by the control of one or more operating parameters which determine power to be fed in by the wind turbine. The method comprises determining a parameterized time function of a tower deflection for the time interval (TE). A series of boundary conditions are defined for the parameterized time function of the tower deflection and a thrust of the rotor of the wind turbine is determined for the parameterized time function of the tower deflection. A function is then calculated for controlling the one or more operating parameters from the thrust of the rotor.

Method for controlling a wind turbine when the power setpoint value is changed

A method for operating a wind turbine comprises capturing an actual value of a fed-in power (P) and determining a power deviation based on the captured actual value of the fed-in power (P). A signal value is set for a correction of a setpoint value for the rotor blade pitch angle when one of the power deviation exceeds a predetermined maximum value and the power deviation exceeds a maximum gradient threshold value over a specified period of time. The signal value is cleared when one of the power deviation falls below a predetermined minimum value and a grid voltage value is located in a predetermined band around a specified target voltage value. A correction value (d&#x3b2;/dt*) is determined for the setpoint value of the rotor blade pitch angle depending on the power deviation and applied to a rotor blade pitch control when the signal value is set.

A method for controlling an active power output in a wind farm comprises inputting a setpoint of the active power into a ramp and limiting unit to determine an internal active power setpoint. Inputting the internal active power setpoint into a distributing unit configured to calculate a modeled active power setpoint of the wind farm. Determine by a subtraction element, a control difference that is a difference between the modeled active power setpoint and an actual value of the active power output of the wind farm. Determine a controller setpoint variable and calculating an overall setpoint variable from the controller setpoint variable and the feed-forward control variable. Splitting the active power setpoint value of the wind farm among models of the wind turbines. Determining a modeled active power setpoint value of the wind farm as a sum of modeled active power setpoint values of the wind farm model. Determining a system deviation as a difference between the modeled active power setpoint value and an actual value of the active power output of the wind farm. Inputting the system deviation into a power controller which outputs a controller manipulated variable. A wind turbine having a rotor, which has at least one rotor blade adjustable about its longitudinal axis via a pitch control, and a generator, driven by the rotor, having a speed regulator, which takes a control difference in the rotational speed and generates a control variable for the pitch control, and a generator regulator, which takes a power conductance and determines a rotational speed setpoint and a power setpoint, wherein a pilot control is provided that uses an inverse controlled system to determine a control variable for the pitch control, the inverse controlled system determining a power torque (MP) from the rotational speed setpoint and the power setpoint and also an acceleration torque (MB) from the change in the rotational speed setpoint over time and outputting the control variable for the pitch control as an output variable that provides pilot control for the output variable from the speed regulator.

A method for controlling an active power in a wind farm having at least two wind turbines that supply active power comprises inputting a setpoint value for the active power of the wind farm into a wind farm model. The wind farm model outputs a modeled active power setpoint value. A system deviation is determined and input into a power controller, which outputs a controller manipulated variable. A feedforward control manipulated variable is determined independently of states of the wind farm or the active power. An overall manipulated variable is determined for the wind farm as the sum of the controller manipulated variable and the feedforward control manipulated variable. A correction value is determined based on the difference between the actual value of the active power and the modeled active power setpoint value and input into the wind farm model.

The invention relates to a method for monitoring a static and/or dynamic stability of a wind turbine. The wind turbine has a tower, a nacelle, which is supported by the tower, and a rotor, which is mounted in or on the nacelle and has at least one rotor blade which can be adjusted about its longitudinal axis. The method includes the following steps: the wind turbine is excited to oscillate in at least one direction. A frequency (f) of the excited oscillation is detected. The detected frequency is compared with a predetermined frequency (f) and an alarm signal is generated if the detected frequency deviates from the predetermined frequency by more than a difference value (&#x394;f).

Method for monitoring a static and/or dynamic stability of a wind turbine

The invention is directed to a method for operating a wind turbine in the event of a grid error. The wind turbine has a rotor having a rotor blade adjustable in its blade pitch angle, a generator and a unit for capturing an actual value of the rotational speed of the generator, a value of the blade pitch angle and an actual value of a variable which is representative of a generator torque. The method includes recognizing a grid error; capturing the actual value of the generator torque and actual value of rotational speed of the generator when a grid error was recognized; determining a change in torque; capturing the pitch angle; determining a corrective value for the pitch angle in dependence upon the change in the generator torque and the value for the pitch angle; and, determining a corrected set-point for the pitch angle.

Method for operating a wind turbine in the event of a grid error and a wind turbine for carrying out said method

A method controls the rotational speed of a wind turbine having a tower, a nacelle mounted on the tower and a drive train which includes a rotor having at least one rotor blade. The rotor is rotatably mounted about a rotor axis in the nacelle. The drive train further includes a generator configured to be driven by the rotor. In a nacelle-fixed reference system, the rotational speed (&#x3c9;*) of a component of the drive train which rotates with the rotor in correspondence to a transmission ratio (Ue) is measured. A movement of the nacelle relative to the ground is measured and the rotational speed is controlled to a rotational speed setpoint with a speed controller which outputs a generator torque (M) and/or a blade pitch angle (&#x3b8;). The measured rotational speed (&#x3c9;*) is converted into a corrected rotational speed (&#x3c9;) which corresponds to the rotational speed of the rotor in a ground-fixed reference system multiplied by the transmission ratio (Ue). The corrected rotational speed (&#x3c9;) is used as the input quantity for the speed controller.
