An apparatus for metering and dispensing a liquid into packaging containers ( ) has a dispenser device ( ) with dispenser heads ( ), which communicate via a distributor ( ) with a supply container ( ). A pressure sensor ( ), which ascertains a pressure (P ) prevailing in the liquid, is disposed in the distributor ( ). A temperature sensor ( ) for detecting the temperature (T) of the liquid is also disposed in at least one line ( ) that connects the distributor ( ) to a metering valve ( ). The sensors ( ), communicating with a control device ( ), together with weighing devices ( ) that also communicate with the control device ( ), enable exact regulation of the weight of a set-point fill quantity (M) in packaging containers ( ). By means of the special disposition of the sensors ( ), exact metering of the set-point fill quantity (M) and easy replacement of the supply container ( ) are made possible.
