An inflatable packer assembly may include a housing and a shifting sleeve disposed within the housing. The shifting sleeve may have one or more sleeve ports formed therein. An actuator may be coupled with the shifting sleeve. The actuator may be electrically actuated between a plurality of positions. One or more inflatable packers may be coupled with the housing, the housing having one or more ports formed therein. Actuation of the actuator may shift the shifting sleeve in order for the one or more sleeve ports to enter into fluid communication with the one or more ports of the housing in order to inflate or deflate the inflatable packers.

A downhole tool includes a hydraulically operated actuation device to actuate the downhole tool and a control system that regulates flow of hydraulic fluid to the actuation device. The control system includes a pilot module and a power module. The power module has a first solenoid valve and a second solenoid valve fluidly coupled to a pressure source and a fluid return. The power module is fluidly coupled to the actuation device at an output line and a power line. A first power module check valve is arranged in the power line, a second power module check valve is arranged in a control pressure return line fluidly coupled to the fluid return, a first input communicates with the first solenoid valve, and a second input communicates with the second solenoid valve. A pilot-operated check valve is actuatable in response to a pilot signal to drain hydraulic fluid from the power module.

Modular electro-hydraulic downhole control system

A method includes conveying a casing cutting tool into the wellbore lined with at least one casing string and cement, and stroking the casing cutting tool over a predetermined axial length of the wellbore while ejecting fluid from one or more nozzles in the casing cutting tool and thereby forming a plurality of longitudinal cuts through the casing string and cement. The casing cutting tool is then rotated about its longitudinal axis at two or more axially offset locations along the predetermined axial length while ejecting fluid from nozzles and thereby forming a plurality of axially offset transverse cuts in the casing string and the cement. The longitudinal cuts and axially offset transverse cuts form wedges in the wellbore, and the wedges are dislodged from the wellbore to expose formation rock along the predetermined axial length.

Systems and methods for removing a section of casing

A wellbore servicing system including a work string and a valve tool defining an flowbore, wherein the valve tool is transitionable from a first mode to a second mode, from the second mode to a third mode, and from the third mode to a fourth mode, wherein the valve tool transitions from the first mode to the second mode upon an application of pressure to the flowbore of at least a threshold pressure, wherein the valve tool transitions from the second mode to the third mode upon a dissipation of pressure from the flowbore to not more than the threshold pressure, and wherein, in the first mode, the valve tool allows fluid communication via the flowbore in a first direction and disallows fluid communication in a second direction. Further, in the second, and third modes, the valve tool allows fluid communication in both the first and second directions.

Downhole valve assembly and methods of using the same

An apparatus for securing and using hydrajetting tools within a borehole includes a housing that defines an inner bore. A flow limiting member may be disposed within the inner bore. The flow limiting member may include a first a first jet in fluid communication with the top of the housing, a first chamber positioned below and in fluid communication with the first jet, and a first cavity aligned with the first jet and in fluid communication with the chamber. A groove may be disposed on an outer surface of the housing, with an anchor assembly that is disposed around the housing and axially slidable and securable within the groove.

A diverter for a subterranean well, a diverter retrieving tool and methods of diverting objects traversing the well and retrieving the diverter. The diverter comprises: (1) a body having a lower portion adapted to be coupled to a diverter anchoring structure and an upper portion having a slanted diverting surface, the diverter adapted to be placed within a main borehole of the subterranean well at a predetermined location and orientation proximate a junction of a lateral borehole with the main borehole, the slanted diverting surface adapted to redirect an object having a particular diameter and coming into contact with the diverter into the lateral borehole and (2) a compliant spring member associated with the slanted diverter surface. The spring member is resiliently retractable toward the slanted diverter surface to allow the object to traverse the junction and enter the lateral borehole, the diverter therefore dynamically adjustable to compensate for an insufficient minimum diameter of a selectable one of the main borehole, junction and lateral borehole. The diverter is configured to receive a flexible finger of the retrieving tool into a central longitudinal shaft therein to engage and retrieve the diverter without having to orient the retrieving tool.
