Systems and methods of a security architecture for a connected aircraft are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, an avionics server comprises a plurality of device ports, wherein each of the plurality of device ports is coupled to a respective one of a plurality of device network interface cards and dedicated to a respective one of a plurality of avionics domains which corresponds to the respective device network interface card. Further, at least one processing device is configured to identify one or more signals from a respective user received at one or more of the plurality of device ports and to verify whether the user has access to the respective avionics domains that are dedicated to the one or more device ports over which the one or more signals are received.

Security architecture for the connected aircraft

A system for planning and executing a response to an incident includes a planning and execution data source and a processing system. The processing system is in operable communication with the planning and execution database. The processing system is configured to generate pre-planned responses to be executed by associated response assets, store data representative of the pre-planned responses in the planning and execution database, selectively retrieve a pre-planned response from the planning and execution database, communicate with the response assets associated with the retrieved pre-planned response, provide real-time tracking of the retrieved pre-planned response being executed by the associated response assets, and selectively generate recommendations for modifying the retrieved pre-planned response.

Response planning and execution aiding system and method

A system includes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) configured to be equipped with data representing a first UAV flight plan, and a ground station configured to control the UAV. The ground station is operable to receive, at a first time, a first data set representing at least one flight path of at least one aircraft, calculate a second UAV flight plan to avoid the at least one flight path of the at least one aircraft, the second UAV flight plan being based on the data representing the first UAV flight plan and the first data set representing at least one flight path of the at least one aircraft, and transmit data representing the second UAV flight plan to the UAV.

System and methods for unmanned aerial vehicle navigation

Systems and methods for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) navigation are presented. In a preferred embodiment, a UAV is configured with at least one flight corridor and flight path, and a first UAV flight plan is calculated. During operation of the first UAV flight plan, the UAV visually detects an obstacle, and calculates a second UAV flight plan to avoid the obstacle. Furthermore, during operation of either the first or the second UAV flight plan, the UAV acoustically detects an unknown aircraft, and calculates a third UAV flight plan to avoid the unknown aircraft. Additionally, the UAV may calculate a new flight plan based on other input, such as information received from a ground control station.
