A stent graft delivery device that is pre-loaded with a single guide wire for both tracking the device within a main vessel as well as for cannulating one or more branch vessels is described. The delivery device comprises a delivery catheter having a prosthesis releasably secured thereto and a nose cone extending from the proximal end of the catheter. In a delivery configuration, a secondary catheter is coaxial with the guide wire and extends through at least a portion of the prosthesis lumen and is held within a channel formed in the nose cone. In a released configuration, secondary catheter and guide wire are retracted distally out of the channel formed in the sidewall of the nose cone dilator and can be manipulated for cannulating a branch vessel.

Stent graft delivery device pre-loaded with a single wire for device tracking and cannulation

The present embodiments describe an endograft having at least two branches extending from two fenestrations on the endograft body, and methods for deploying the same. In one example, the system comprises one internal branch that is relatively straight, and one external branch that is helically curved. The fenestrations may be circumferentially located on substantially the same side of the endograft main body, and distal regions of the branches may be circumferentially located on substantially opposite sides of the main body. The branches may be longitudinally non-overlapping. Connection stents may be configured to extend from the branches to provide fluid communication with peripheral vessels. Peripheral vessels may include the coronary or renal arteries. In another example, the branches are both external to the main endograft body.

Endograft with at least two branch portions

The present embodiments provide prosthesis deployment systems. In one embodiment, a sleeve has proximal and distal regions and a lumen extending therebetween, and further comprising a first exit aperture, a first entrance aperture, and a second exit aperture. A trigger wire is disposed at least partially within the lumen of the sleeve. A prosthesis has a delivery state and an expanded state, and further has first and second regions. In the delivery state, the trigger wire extends out of the lumen through the first exit aperture of the sleeve, restrains the first region of the prosthesis, reenters the lumen through the first entrance aperture of the sleeve, extends out of the lumen through the second exit aperture of the sleeve, and restrains the second region of the prosthesis.

Trigger wire arrangements for endografts

An endovascular prosthesis delivery system is disclosed. The system comprises: an inner cannula; a prosthesis releasably secured to the inner cannula, the prosthesis having a radially-inwardly contracted delivery configuration and a radially-expanded deployed configuration, wherein the prosthesis comprises at least two suture loops secured to an outer surface of the prosthesis and circumferentially spaced from each other; a releasable trigger wire extending along at least a portion of the length of the prosthesis, wherein the releasable trigger wire is wound around at least a portion of the inner cannula and wherein the releasable trigger wire engages at least one of the at least two suture loops to retain the prosthesis in the radially-inwardly contracted delivery configuration.

Hybrid trigger wire for endografts

The present embodiments provide delivery systems. In one embodiment, the delivery system includes a cannula having proximal and distal regions and a lumen extending therebetween. An atraumatic tip is coupled to the proximal region of the cannula. A proximal region of a housing component is disposed at least partially within a cavity of the atraumatic tip and secured to the atraumatic tip, and a distal region of the housing component extends at least partially distally beyond the atraumatic tip. A proximal region of a trigger wire is housed within the distal region of the housing component in a delivery state.

Selective fluid barrier valve devices and methods of treatment are described herein. An embodiment of a selective fluid barrier valve device comprises a housing, an actuator, a sleeve, a wire member, and a connector. The sleeve defines a passageway that extends through the sleeve. The actuator is moveable between a first position and a second position. When the actuator is in the first position, the sleeve is in a first configuration such that fluid can pass through the passageway defined by the sleeve. When the actuator is in a second position, the sleeve is in a second configuration such that fluid is prevented from passing through the passageway defined by the sleeve.

Selective fluid barrier valve device and method of treatment

A cutting tool is provided for cutting the end of a catheter to provide custom length catheters. The cutting tool has a cutting member that moves within the cutting passageway in the housing. The catheter is positioned within a catheter passageway in the housing. The cutting passageway transacts the catheter passageway so that a blade on the cutting member crosses the catheter passageway and cuts through the width of the catheter to form a cut end on the catheter.

A drive system is provided for rotating a biopsy member. The drive system includes a pinion connected to the biopsy member and a rack that drives the pinion during a drive stroke. During the return stroke, the rack rotates away from the pinion so that the rack is not engaged with the pinion during the return stroke. Thus, the pinion is only driven during the drive stroke but not during the return stroke. As a result, the biopsy member rotates in a single direction as a trigger is repeatedly pressed and released.

A drive system is provided for rotating and translating a biopsy member. The drive system includes housing having an opening having housing threads. A device gear within the opening has device gear threads that mate with the housing threads. A biopsy member is fixed to the device gear. The device gear threads have gear teeth that mate with pinion teeth that are disposed circumferentially on a pinion. A drive is configured to rotate the pinion thereby rotating and translating the biopsy member relative to the housing.

A vocal fold movement translation device includes a reverse motion linkage configured to interface with a first vocal fold and a second vocal fold. The reverse motion linkage includes a mechanical component configured to move the first vocal fold in a first movement direction in response to movement of the second vocal fold in a second movement direction that is opposite the first movement direction. The reverse motion linkage is movable between a first configuration corresponding to an abducted position of the first and second vocal folds and a second configuration corresponding to an adducted position of the first and second vocal folds.
